As I try to capture an experience that is truly magical and new to a main character, and as I watch "Oshi no Ko" over and over, I'm reminded of how genuinely world-shaking it felt to watch a musical for the first time in person.
It may have been a high school theater version, and I certainly had zero ability to discern any flaws in the students' acting, but it was a core moment for me that I'll remember always. The emotions felt fresh and new, and I laughed and cried and gasped. The music was great, the singing was great, the dancing was great.
It was special.

Even though people commonly make fun of high school plays, and point out any and all amateurish moments, it is special to me. While many media may not be perfect, it's important to remember that they were magical experiences to others, and that's what's important.
What about you guys?
