Do not count the character sheets as part of your word count, please. I've seen stories with maybe a paragraph of writing and everything else was sheet.
I mean it was on RR where character sheets seem to be their drugs and smut, but still... It just looks lazy.
what if it was uploaded as.. lets say:
Chapter 6: blah blah story
upload: Random character sheet
Chapter 7: blah blah more story
more chapters etc
Random character sheet or item RPG details whatever.. stats junk
more chapter, etc
how many chapters of story would be satisfactory
between random junk stat pages? 3 story pages per 1 junk stat? 4? 5? what would be the balance number ratio? (x : y)
Not sure if it’s hyper creative but I based my LitRPG off of a real tabletop rpg (pathfinder). So
Shameless self promotion
people used to write down their D&D campeigns as novels all the time.
then People started to record their playthroughs and shove it on youtube.
same difference in my opinion. just newer forms of media.
now, people play baulders gate 3 and people watch that.
if you think it's creative, or not, it's still your personal outlet. I think you're fine. goodjob, you know?
I recommend doing something similar to what is done in this story. Essentially at the end of every arc the character sheet gets its own chapter, otherwise you are mostly only given the changes in the stats/skills/titles/etc. instead of getting the full/partial status screen every time something happens.
like a end of session calculation.
"Beat the dungeon to receive all acquired exp" sort of thing?
