I'm looking for Reqs with particularly creative takes on LitRPG, largely for research purposes. No particular compunctions about content or content warnings, I only care about finding creative and high quality LitRPG content.
Even if I've already read an example I'm provided with, that's still usable information to me, so I won't be sharing what I've already read.

The Chrysalis series by RinoZ is excellent, easily the best creature evolution LitRPG I've read, which I personally think is the format in which the genre shines. Building your own ant empire for fun and profit. Also charmingly voice acted.

I recommend doing something similar to what is done in this story. Essentially at the end of every arc the character sheet gets its own chapter, otherwise you are mostly only given the changes in the stats/skills/titles/etc. instead of getting the full/partial status screen every time something happens.

Do not count the character sheets as part of your word count, please. I've seen stories with maybe a paragraph of writing and everything else was sheet.

I mean it was on RR where character sheets seem to be their drugs and smut, but still... It just looks lazy.

what if it was uploaded as.. lets say:

Chapter 6: blah blah story
upload: Random character sheet
Chapter 7: blah blah more story
more chapters etc
Random character sheet or item RPG details whatever.. stats junk
more chapter, etc

how many chapters of story would be satisfactory between random junk stat pages? 3 story pages per 1 junk stat? 4? 5? what would be the balance number ratio? (x : y)
Not sure if it’s hyper creative but I based my LitRPG off of a real tabletop rpg (pathfinder). So Shameless self promotion

people used to write down their D&D campeigns as novels all the time.
then People started to record their playthroughs and shove it on youtube.
same difference in my opinion. just newer forms of media.
now, people play baulders gate 3 and people watch that.
if you think it's creative, or not, it's still your personal outlet. I think you're fine. goodjob, you know? :blob_gift: (y)

like a end of session calculation.

"Beat the dungeon to receive all acquired exp" sort of thing?

For items and/or skills I'd say when needed, but the whole character sheet? I'd say whenever there is a significant change in it. Like a change in more than three categories. Say your character equips an item that gives stat boosts and a skill, then just show the changes. But if your character enters a mode change/transformation/etc. that isn't a flat stat increase and has significant changes to the character, then I'd say you could slap in a piece of sheet in the chapter. And maybe at the beginning of a new volume if they don't take up too much place. Or at the end, but please, for the love of excel, don't do both.

In mine, my character has never requested his full stat sheet from the first time he saw it so he just gets skill and ability updates as they happen.

reminds me of Bofuri anime. lol

oh i meant like, heres character A, after a few chapters 'here's character B. story story story 'character C!' and so on.
-or story story story... "here's a quick page stats for nerds who wanted to know of acquired items A-F" ...story story story..

My characters look at their displays all the time. I don't see a reason why you should, though.

LitRPG?

Chaos Seeds: The World (it doesn't finish sadly, the author is scatterbrained and wants to do 9 million things)
Ripple System
He Who Fights With Monsters
Heretical Fishing

Really LitRPG is easy, just gamify the world with a stat sheet and have that be the meta growth.

Depends on the type of game-systems you're planning to integrate, but as far as published and released material goes...

I've written a long story, and it's an LITRPG. It balances all kinds of different stats and skills from multiple popular anime/TV series/movies/games

Made a LOT of mistakes on the way... story transformed a lot.

If you're ever interested, give it a go. I can also give you some tips and tell you what I learned, or maybe answer your questions.

I have two LitRPG Webnovels that I've written if you want to check them out?
