This is something that youtube and patreon (and maybe some other places) have that I think would fit well on Scribble Hub.
Basically, it's a special button for comments that the author can press to notify the commenter that they've seen and appreciated the comment. This is separate from the usual likes, which the author should still be able to use.
As an author, I think it would be nice to let my commenters know that I have read and appreciate their comment, without having to post a reply telling them as such, which would clutter the comments section with junk.
As a reader, it would be nice to get a notification that the author has read my comment and appreciates it, because at the moment, there is little feedback.
Of course, the option to turn off such notifications would be a must if this were to be implemented.
