He didn't dare to break those "guidelines" in front of the keeper of the code in the third movie.

Censored?

Listen, I think of it as a PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS, DEER ACTIVE AT NIGHT, MOOSE CROSSING NEXT 2 KM, or whatever sign. Nothing is censored; just giving readers fair warning before they discover the writer gave their MC a foot fetish.

A fair warning heads up is completely reasonable. But there are stories that hide "Adult" content behind spoiler boxes, offer "G" rated alternative chapters and advise readers that the 18+ chapters are unnecessary to the story and can be skipped. Maybe calling this full blown censorship is excessive but it's a lot more than a fair warning. If the story has a smut tag there shouldn't be a need for a child proof cap on every other chapter. At some point the reader has to be responsible for themselves.

I remember reading something called 'I was reincarnated as a 6-Star gatcha character' that was even worse than that. For any sex scenes, you had to open a link to what I am guessing was the dudes shared drive, and it was a barely edited piece done in Notepad. Was so annoying on my phone to read that I gave up.

Yep, I won't read anything that coerces me into having to go to a different site to access all the content.
