If you were to be isekai’d

What would your build be?

I wrote 112 Handbooks, a frickin' encyclopedia, about d20 3.0/3.5 FOR FUN. I define power gamer.
So I'd be your basic min-maxed Erudite Eidoloncer

(Note —there is a “system”, there are abilities, skills, and stuff; no classes though. But there is no screen. A instinct feeling interaction with the system.)

No Classes? Huh...

Okay. I assume I get to pick my race.
I'll be a Pathetic (int-reduced), Vernal Unseely, magic-blooded, primordial half-giant with the bloodlines of Titan (major), Air Elemental (intermediate) and Celestial (minor), reincarnated Ghost who had been hit with a warp blade until I died, with all the extra limbs granted by the warp touch disease removed and replaced with construct limbs (because can you have too many natural attacks?), although if I get lucky enough to have a snake growing out of my chest, I'll keep that for the extra natural attack. Also I would eat a lump of corrupted flesh, grow a second head out of my left shoulder, then slap a helm of opposite alignment on it so it becomes Lawful Good, thus allowing me to dual cast.

And as long as I get to pick the race/body, I'd put a Cerebral hood on my chest snake's head so it can mind blast and shit. Definitely some psionic sinew implants in any remaining organic limbs. A tongue worm that I would make my familiar so I can use glory tongue to have it grow out to 100' for touch attacks. At least one envenerating arm, Silthilar bones, of course, a golden dancing pegleg, Spike stone implants under my skin, feathered wings (incase the warp blade didn't give me any.)

And to top it all off, HUMANOID SKIN, because I'd want to cover up what a horribly disfigured monstrosity I became by hiding in the skin of someone else that I can BURST OUT OF when I want to go whole hog, otherwise, I look perfectly normal, including covering up my extra head and chest snake.

Abilities would be focused on extra actions and movement. Skills would be geared towards spamming attacks and crafting. "Stuff" would be the systematic exploitation of the system and improvements to my ever increasing list of immunities and defenses.

Then I'd start off by systematically testing my "instincts" until I could mathematically quantify the system, determine its strengths and weaknesses, and if there were any feedback loops that gave me unlimited power. Then...

oh, it's easy. since you said we're just getting pulled there, I'd be a special class known as "Dead". I've got severe health issues. there's a reason I stopped working - it put too much strain on my body and I was tired of being hospitalized 2-3 times a week.

That said, I know you said we are who we are right now, but *if* I were reincarnated, I'd do my best to become a spellsword. sure, it may be weaker on both spells and swords than dedicated classes, but it offers SOOOOOO much more versatility. I've always been a solo player, so any class that lets me solo is my jam.

Yep, if no changes were made, I'd join you in that special class. Extreme depression doesn't help with survival at all. Nor do the other health issues, but those aren't as bad for me. Another reason healer is an excellent choice -- can fix yourself.

As another member of the health-problems-and-stuff group, I assume I'll get killed off by something or other before the day's over. So. Later on, a nice passing necromancer can reanimate me. Then I can be a skeleton! I like skeletons. They never get tired, which is awesome. I'll work hard and rise through the skeleton ranks—probably along the mage path so I can eventually evolve into something cool like a lich. (It's not one of those super traditional worlds where skeletons don't get to evolve into liches, is it? That would be sad. The old-fashioned sacrifice-a-thousand-people-in-a-dark-ritual route to lichdom doesn't sound nearly as fun....)

I would personally be a brawler (No set weapon), or a speed focused gunslinger with shotgun (Finally my hobbies will be of use! Smithing.)


The place your reincarnated is a wild world, and closes your getting to civilization is a alien-race in a tribe. A whole lot of untouched natural land. So a American’s/English wet dream, free land.

I just want a crafting skill, basically anything I create unlocks new things. First thing I make is charcoal, next ammonia and finally some magnesium and saltpeter
