I have got to ask! I must, I must! This one has the potential to be interesting...
😂 The one that does ask...

Let's just say it has a lot to do with early childhood trauma, about nothing more than a cassette player's total crash out meltdown.
Name any five year old that wouldn't scream from moving squiggly bands of brown film coming out of a device and moving closer on its own.

You have to tell the story. I have so many questions. What I'm picturing in my mind can't possibly be correct. All I see is a cassette going tentacle monster. Please tell me that's not what happened... Why do I suddenly feel traumatized as well?

The ocean and any other deep water depths, you can never know wtf is hiding in there. Maybe it's a fish with too many teeth or a brain eating bacteria...I'm even scared at public beaches that are probably safe. I can't help but still be scared.

Tunnels, especially walking through one late at night. Similar to the ocean thing you can never know wtf is hiding in there. Even very very short tunnels where you can see the other side when looking through it.

String tied shoes that have been thrown over electrical wires or tree branches (any high place basically). It's an old symbol for a drug trade happening nearby...but it's such an old practice that most police know of it so dealers don't even actually do that anymore. These days only kids do that with old shoes for funsies. Still I can't help but get all sweaty and worried that a crackhead may be nearby.

Water I get, especially murky and/or deep water. Fucking alligators... Tunnels are ambush points for sure. However back when I was a kid in a life long ago. People did that to either bully kids, get rid of old shoes, and just because. Never had anything to do with drugs, and I assure you I would know about drugs. Drugs have always been there for me... But I digress, I like the concept of it though. I won't tell you the water is safe though, i don't believe it myself.

Well, I never planned on sharing this one, but I'd say my most irrational fear is sprite. The beverage.

That's pretty much what happened. Gave me nightmares about tape-dragons trying to eat me. I outgrew the fear, but not when it came to the physical sensation of its material. Worse than nails on chalkboard.

What about the friendly talking alligators? They're kind.

Mushrooms. I do not exactly fear them, but they creep me out. Especially their lamellae. They are far too otherwordly.

Irrational fear ? Hmmm... probably fearing not able to wake up on time when I try to sleep early. I ended up sleeping late cuz of overthinking or not being able to sleep at all! :sweating_profusely:

If the alligator talks, I know the LSD was good. Probably going to end up on the news for being eaten while tripping balls though.

Have you tried sponge mushrooms? Or even seen the movie Shrooms? God I love that movie.

That I think falls under Anxiety more than fear. I can't sleep either when i know i have to be up for something important. I also worry about oversleeping.

Oh! I got another one. Idk why I fear them alot when I was a kid but my sibs say its frickin crazy. I fear trees/bushes especially in the dark. and I no longer remember why but I think it has something to do from watching too much horror movies.

As long as it was horror and not because of an uncle, we're good... Just go ahead and avoid the bushes to be safe. If a tree ever tries to get you in the back of a van remember that they don't carry STD's, but they do have splinters. Which is worse, I assure you I wouldn't know, probably. :blob_cringe:

Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

I have a phobia of poultry, especially chicks.

It sends shivers down my spine just thinking about them, and I’d bolt immediately if I heard one chirping.

Is it because they look like chicken nuggets with legs? Please expand and I'll forgive the kin-slaying 😁
