From what I can see, people do that if they just want to subscribe for one month. So they paid the $10, got their advance chapters, and then canceled so they wouldn't get charged for another month unless they decide they want to stay subscribed.

I tried to warn you, this is perfectly normal and happens all the time. This has nothing to do with the quality of your story though, people just don't want an active subscription. He probably will remain a member and will be back sooner or later. It's still nice.
