So, I saw something awesome come up in another thread which I have actually been employing myself in my own work as well. It is a method to keep Webnovel from stealing your work.

Webnovel is infamous for plagiarizing other people's work. They are based out of China, so they don't have to uphold the same intellectual property standards of other sites. However, there IS one weakness that Webnovel has which will allow you to protect your work with a very simple trick, assuming you can find a way to manage it.

It really is just as simple as working in some anti-CCP political statements into your work somewhere. If you do this, it could be as simple as putting in something like the 4 banned words (Tibet, Taiwan, Fulan gang, or Weiger) in some kind of sneaky way that just flies over the head of anyone who isn't reading it with an eye to catch these things, thus making it nearly impossible for a plagiarist to catch them all, or working it so integrally into the plot that it's impossible to remove.

An example of the latter would be something I'm planning in my next work. I'm going to have an isekai where the MC dies during the apocalypse. The apocalypse is going to be WW3 with demons. China is going to start WW3 by invading Taiwan, and then they are going to contract with the demons to help them fight the war.

Do stuff like that and your stuff will never be permitted on Webnovel, thus the plagiarists will be completely unable to steal your stuff.

Well, two CE on WN already said my work is a piece of shit (It's not completely wrong though). So i doubt my work will pop-up there after i deleted the chapters and change the title to some numbers, but i think it is fun to use your idea. Thanks.

BTW, so long as it's acknowledged that I was the original source to the idea, I will permit absolutely anyone to use the China contracts with demons during the apocalypse idea. It would be hilarious if this becomes a new standard Isekai trope developed specifically as a hard-counter to this Webnovel plagiarism stuff.

(Might even teach China a lesson about respecting other people's intellectual property. Failure to do so causes people to start coming up with hilarious anti-China propaganda just to protect their IP from plagiarism.)

I am certain I won't write even remotely consistently enough to have my shit plagiarised but I will jump on this bandwagon just for the sake of it. Hell, I'm going to write an entire arc about CCP contracting ghosts of the Japanese invaders to occupy Taiwan, even if I'm getting my work banned from everywhere, just for the fun of it.

There are so many choices about that.

1. Trashing your story and artworks.
2. Put the worst superstitions that Asian cultures would be terrified off like number 4. 4 = Death
3. Put all kind of profanity in the story enough
4. Go to DMCA or find an International Lawyer

7. Piracy revenge / reverse harassment? (Too risky.)

Just do stuffs in your story to the point that anyone from their country or their business policy will never tolerate. Then you can change it later or screw up all the plotline order.

The best way to prevent your work from being plagiarized is making it really really bad. The worse it is, the less likely it'll be plagiarized :P

That said, I do remember the old joke about how to get rid of Chinese paid trolls. Just mention the Tibet massacre and their internet will go out for a month.

Why is the Tibet massacre a taboo?

Cause it made them look bad. Aka, same reason most things are taboo in China.
So it is really done by them? I heard it was by the other people or countries plus some news media hypes.

The chinese authorities themselves accept those facts (even though their numbers are a lot lower). Of course, to them, the definition of "just cause" and the like was different.

Every country has a lot of dark history. Some are really open with it, in some the people decide to better not talk about it, and in some the authorities try to make those facts less importants.

You could also try more subtle references. Like, describe a country lead by a paranoid despot, that likes honey, who enslaves and ‘re-educates’ people who they dislikes. Also, make the despot a closeted straight trans women. Doubt they would post it, and if they do, report them to the ccp.
