I think a lot of people are miss understanding something, webnovel is separate from qidian so they can bypass there censorship. Its like tiktok and douyin their servers are different.

Webnovel is based in Hong Kong, so they'll sense it when there is something to be disliked. Also they belong to the Qidian group, so... yeah, no chance they wouldn't listen.

There is a simpler reason than anything: nobody cares. As long as nobody reports it, nobody will remove it. And it takes a lot of readers until someone will move to remove it. It's like some smut on this site with underaged children. It's here, people just don't give a shit, so it doesn't get removed. And most active readers will overlook such stuff, because they want to read more, anyway.


Even directly in china, most webnovels that get targeted are a lot longer. Most of them 500+ chapters long, before any authority even takes any action or gives a shit. As long as you don't trigger any weird bots, nothing will happen until your story gets big...
