How do you take notes for chapters.

When I get bored, I just write my idea down in the middle of the chapter so I can continue off it. Which ends up making these grammar balls of flame.

(Gets up and looks around, hears crackle behind him.)

(Near end all the shock to disabate, and his underlying self by separating the narrator, and making it less tinted. Show his stress and slow realization of his family being gone. Not in thoughts, but in actions. By violent outburst, and forcabily stopping himself. Grabbing his head, muscles tending, teeth gritting.)

I take them down as separate chapters there’s about 13,000 words of notes from my most recent and about 80,000 overall.

If think up an idea, then I think about it, then move on. If I remember it again, then it was a great idea. If I forget it, it sucked because it was forgettable and therefore was unworthy of writing down. I only write something down if I think it up twice.

I mainly put it down in a separate Google doc and look over it when I am running out of ideas.

I jot down whatever ideas I have on the notes app on my phone. I review the notes and see what ideas I want to put in the chapter I am writing. Other than that, I usually just improvise on what I am writing. Also I guess ideas are a bit easier for me because I am writing fanfic that already has its own lore, and all I'm doing is putting my own twist onto it.
