It’s not that I don’t like her, it’s just that she just doesn’t really resonate with me. She’s cool and all, but that’s it for me. And I mean the mythological Charon. Unless I messed up names, he’s the guy who ferrues souls across the River Styx to the land of the dead, similar to how Acheron is with the Nihility.

I’d argue so. My Jing Yuan does ~70-100k/lightning lord normally (and it was less since I was down 1 support because HMC is needed) and that was maybe 5-8% ish of its health? I mean, it has 1.3m hp for me so… Also it does like 1/4-1/2 my health per hit…

Yeah Acheron is the name of one of 5 rivers of the Greek underworld. It's the river of pain if I remember correctly.
I guess, I find her quite relatable (in ways)? The allegory of losing color and emotions is something that hits close to home and stuff, so probably that's why I'm simping so hard
Also Blob of Nihility is quite cute for what horrors it spawns and stuff

I see.... I guess that hp bloat without any real jump in power turns almost every fight into an endurance run. Guess it's time to grind the last 10 levels and join the pain (ง'̀-'́)ง

The rant warnings are making me reluctant to continue playing Penacony. Which is weird cause from what I've seen on Youtube people are sort of hype about it? Maybe that's just diehard fans being diehard fans thought.

I'm starting to see more complaints on hoyolab today, so I think more people are finishing, so more variety of opinions.

Yesterday I was watching my gf play through and after seeing this stuff again I must say it kind of feels like either they had a different idea, but had to scrape it for some reason or they simply ran out of time. Or they decided to sacrifice the rest of Penacony for the sake of going all out in 2.3, because Firefly banner.

It's not terrible, and I still think Penacony is worth it, but the ending feels a bit lackluster, so don't get too hyped to not be disappointed.

If we’re talking about leaks, assuming that your source is reliable, do remember that the kit is the beta 1 kit, and there are 5 betas. And, chances are the leaks you’ve seen are correct. Her kit can already be datamined from the game and people have been running her on private servers already.

I've seen animations too... Damn... She really went easy on us in that fight If so, then aside from how OP she seems, she'll be also extremely fun to play. I can already see myself spamming her technique all the time

Based on the current kit though she is heavily reliant on HMC and fighting broken enemies, to the point where forgoing crit for pure break often does more damage. Currently I’d say her kit is a bit finicky, having massive break scaling multiplies but then nothing crit related at all. Jus gotta wait I guess… And the animations are indeed very cool.

They should reveal it officially soon, right? I thought I saw mentions of next week or something, but I don't know if it's someone's wishful thinking or legit prediction. Either way I'm really really excited. And hopefully new relics.

Nope. Kit won’t officially be out until the livestream happens 1-2 weeks before the update releases.
Also by the way, there are new relics and planars on 2.3, along with a new SU module. Also if you care, you can find most leaks on a website by HomDGCat or on the subreddit.

Oh yeah that's where I got the info from Nice! I hope the relic will be true, because it means that I could ditch a couple of old sets. Damn, I can't wait

For the firefly discussion I feel like we should wait for v2 changes to happen first..

Which definitely will happen because currently shes way too one sided of a character even for hsr standards. JL was the same in v1 and they pretty much expanded her kit to a more broad degree so "let them cook" in gen z standards ig?
