Quite a few good games dropped this year, though a few of the good ones came out too late to compete for game of the year, what are some of your personal favorites?

Oblivion remastered, nothing else of interest from AAA games. There were a few good indie games though that I can't remember off the top of my head.

Trails in the Sky First Chapter Remake

I thought Expedition was really fun
Oblivion Remastered was a sleeper surprise hit for me x) that scratched my little medieval fantasy itch
I still haven't played Kingdom Come Delivrance 2, I need to finish the first one x)
But my main vote is for Expedition. It was original and raise the bar for expectations toward future games. It looks sooooo pretty and the characters and gameplay was so much fun to explore

I guess I should probably also answer my own question. I'm really bad at doing that at the start. I'd say Deltarune chapters 3&4, Dispatch, and time stranger for my personal favorite releases this year.

I think the only game I played that actually released this year was Oblivion Remastered. The game I played most was probably Tears of the Kingdom.
