OHHHHHHHH!!!I meant in the movie, sorry
LMAOOHHHHHHHH!!!
I've seen lots of these political discussions on the internet, but most of them seem kinda pointless to me. Thay often start off calm and composed and seem to genuinely want to hear what the other party has to say, but after a while, they start talking all over each other, trying to win the argument or own the other party. That's why "political" discussions are complicated. People will rarely change their ways and beliefs. It's easier to confirm them than to change.

We each find enlightenment in our ways. You arent part of the murim/jianghu faction and yet you are trying to be enlightened? Stop, dont do it.
Yes, but dont do self harm... Go meditate under a waterfall instead. We each find enlightenment in our ways.
Nope! There’s a huge sense of creativity, burning passion, and being the character every time I write, but it doesn’t overwrite my personality except in those moments. Just grows from my personality like a cancer or a raging bonfire normally. Neither do I normally feel like I’ve internalized a wholly unique emotion and philosophy of life into how I genuinely think every day every single time I write.
Guess you’re just different?
@TheMonotonePuppet tell us when you go crazy, alright?Sorry brah, that's not enlightenment, that's ideological possession. You need to watch out for that stuff.
For me, it's more like the techniques of a skilled method actor. I can simply wear the personas of the character's I'm interacting with in my stories, and I can move them as I like. You can't let the persona overtake you though, that's not a good thing, and it's not something to be celebrated as you're going on about here. In fact, it's probably a sign you need to stop for a while.
EDIT: To be a bit more illustrative with this, perhaps you should look into Bhudism a bit more. They have been pursuing enlightenment far longer than anyone, and are somewhat accredited with coining the phrase (at least as it applies to this context.) There is a parable in Bhudism that talks about exactly this sort of matter.
In this parable, a student in their meditation sees a vision of horrible suffering and destruction, and it distresses him greatly. He goes to his teacher and talks about what he saw in his vision. The teacher simply looks at him and tells him "let it go."
The next day, the student is meditating and sees a vision of nirvana and absolute bliss. As he is reveling in this fantastic vision, the instructor comes to him and hits him with a bamboo stick, snapping him out of his meditation. The teacher then yells at him "let it go!"
So, yeah. That's the Bhudist perspective on this sort of thing. I'd go with that if I were you, it will be far more healthy for you. "Enlightenment" is NOT about becoming overwhelmed by some mind-altered state, whether it's triggered by your own mind or mind-altering substances, either are considered bad. In the disciplines that actually pursue enlightenment, it is always about gaining mastery over your own mind and becoming detached from the tricks and torments it can inflict on you. What you are talking about here is not enlightenment, it's possession, and you need to let go of this possession.
Yeah that state change is never going to happen.@TheMonotonePuppet tell us when you go crazy, alright?
*looks around*I think this thread is reaching enlightenment. Peak enlightenment. I bring fourth Summoner Envy.
