At level 10 you get access to the seatbelt function, at level 20 you will get headlights, and at level 30 you get brakes. Do the dailies or buy the premium, maxed out version of BP.

Ah, yeah, car prices are pretty high over here~

... Which is why I only travel by bus! XD

Well, that, and I am scared of driving too. I did get a driving license some 9 years ago or so, but I gave up on it very quickly after trying to drive my mom's car a few times... Too much stuff to pay attention to while moving on a high speed deadly machine... I just gave up.

Ah, and BMWs are just seem as a luxury product over here, I guess? So they sell the cars at crazy high prices because they don't expect the average person to buy them anyways~

... Though well, every car brand is sold at crazy high prices over here. It's just that some brands are even more absurdly expensive than others~
I wish I could take the bus all the time. :blob_pat_sad:

not but you can get your WHOLE CAR taken away due to missed payments on other things.
And even if that wasnt the case, it still isnt saying much. You can do anything as you arent caught doing it. Its why i said illegal. Fuckin everything important to our survival is behind a paywall.
I think the point is that they’re adding subscriptions to things that do no added service.

Insurance is liability in case you crash.

When I look at the subscriptions available, some things like Wi-Fi connection to the car so you can control it from far away can make sense since it’s added value and requires programming security with updates, but stuff like heated seats and things installed on your car that already there but locked behind a paywall are stupid as hell.

I’m not against subscriptions as long as it’s something that requires an external service to what I already paid for in the car itself.

insurance isnt liability. it is gambling. you bet that something will go wrong with your property, the insurance company says it wont.

thats how insurance started. betting on wether shipments would get stolen or not.

I guess. I’m not sure what you qualify as micro transactions.

For me it’s more of a “does it require someone to work?” And if it doesn’t it’s a stupid subscription.

I mean is someone coming to your car to continually change some heater fluid so your seats could work? No, it’s an automated device that doesn’t need external intervention.

that’s why shit like engine power and heated seats go too far, but Wi-Fi connectivity through the internet which requires servers might make sense because someone has to monitor an external device.

Of I paid for all the stuff on the car but can’t use it, then I sure as hell am not buying that fucking car. bMW and Mercedes can go fuck themselves.

My thoughts, but i would buy an RV and just be relaxed and cool. Although i need to also take care of other things, like for example filluck RV accessories which wiil have esthetic and also practical meaning. I guess every vehicle needs to be upgraded properly, if you want it to wokr better and also be comfortable for the owner
