Can disabled profiles comment and like stories?

I've been receiving some lovely comments from a user on my story recently. It's very appreciated, I'm a sucker for comments to hear people's thoughts about my work. Trouble is, I can reply to them buuuuuuut I can't access their profile to thank them for the comments because it says the profile is disabled.

Normally, I would assume it's bots that gave me false comments, which would break my heart buuuut this isn't the first time this happens, and when I check the story statistics I see them still reading my story (thank you btw!).

Soooo... is disabling your profile code for putting it in incognito mode or something? I thought disabling meant no more profile usage. Can disabled profiles still make reading lists, like stories and leave comments?

Yes, people who disable their profile can still comment, like and rate. It just prevents people from looking at their profiles.

Its not uncommon and is probably someone who just wants some privacy. If you want to thank then, just reply to their comment.

I read it the same way but restrained myself from commenting.
But now I don't have to! I read it as disabled people. lmao
