Or, he chooses all of them because he can't decide...When the genre is “harem” and MC has that decisive epilogue moment when he is “encouraged” by the author to choose from one of the love interests. And, the guy is quick to choose his future wife during the last chapter, even though he was pretty neutral toward all the characters till that point.
How about choosing them all because he's decided?Or, he chooses all of them because he can't decide...
Wait, waaait, wait! Is my story then already had a bad ending?! He already has three wives!Or, he chooses all of them because he can't decide...
Yes, I followed the whole series to the very end. I was happy to see the new anime season for this too. At first, it was kind of vaguely leaning toward a typical harem ending with characters coming to an understanding with each other, but suddenly that ending happened. It's more like a rushed ending than a bad ending, though.Have you ever read “The Devil Is A Part-Timer”?
I’ve had the ending of the LN spoiled for me, and what I found out absolutely killed any interest I had for the series.
What happened there is what I consider a textbook bad ending.

The author just wanted to get the series over with, the outcome was unsatisfying, and the main heroine got shafted for… reasons (?) that I still don’t quite understand. (Also, for some reason the series turns into political intrigue for a significant length. I haven’t found out where, but apparently that happens.)

You mean "Nisekoi"? That's exactly what happened. Ah!
