For the past two years, I've gone on a mad binge and am nearly out of good shows that I am aware of to watch. I've gone and watched shows from the 1980s to the ones airing at the very moment. Does anyone have any good recommendations that they genuinely enjoyed. As long as there is an interesting part to it, I would probably look into it. I especially love slice of life, but I enjoy my fair bit of trashy shows as well as action and adventure.... so basically everything.

You probably already watched it but Ranking of the Kings is one of the best in this season.

I'm currently watching symphogear, but everything else I've seen. Great list tho!

Kaiba and Kino no Tabi.
Kaiba sounds rather interesting; Kino no Tabi was a great show that I watched already tho!

Fellow monogatari watchers unite. My favorites Senjou and DonutShinobu. Also, Usagi drop was a good show until I read the ending to it lmao.

:blob_sweat:Okay, so most of these are pretty known, but in case you haven't seen them, here are my recommendations:

-Natsume Yuujinchou is a beautiful fantasy anime with strong slice of life vibes in it.
-Mushishi is very similar, but it has stand-alone episodes as the MC travels through different places.
-Koe no Katachi is one of the best anime movies I ever watched. It's quite popular so you probably saw it.
-Hyouka is a high school mystery with one of the most relatable protagonists ever.
-Gakuen Babysitters is a fluffy slice of life anime (only if you like cute babies, I warn you, there a lot of cute babies).

Okay, this last one has nothing to do with slice of life, but it has such a random idea for a plot and makes you try to figure out what the heck you are watching. I think you could count it trashy- - > Cuticle Detective Inaba ??️‍♂️

I don't really watch too much SoL, but Komi's pretty fun. And Takagi-san.

As for seasonal watches, I'm currently watching Assassin Aristocrat and 86.

Among my personal favorites, I would say Magi is something I'd recommend for a generalist watch. Arpeggio of Blue Steel, too.

When it comes to the the haremy stuff or the less-acclaimed titles that are probably not as mainstream/popular, I'd always be a big fan of Date a Live, Strike the Blood, Asterisk War, and KimiSen. You can count Misfit of Demon King Academy and Shield Hero here too I guess.

Have you read the Takagi-san when they're adults. It's quite good if you ever try reading the manga. I'll be checking out Arpeggio!

Katekyo hitman reborn
Trust me mate. The characters grow a lot over the course of the story, the MC in particular.

One of the better shounen anime that never got its due

Oregairu and Vanitas no Karte. A slice of life romcom that dives deep into the human condition and a mildly nonsensical vampire bishounen with quite interesting characters.

Or you could be pretentious and just watch every anime in MAL top 30 list. Bonus points if you read the respective manga and ln as well.

I've probably watched like the top 200 on MAL. Manga and LN I've just been reading daily as they come out.

I actually love it more than the mainline series. Parent Takagi and Nishikata are so wholesome and entertaining.

I feel you. It's definitely a lot different compared to the mainline series and makes it less repetitive with a wholesome family and day to day interactions.
