Saw this on Twitter:
“Content produced by AI is now appearing on the internet in greater volume than content created by humans, per Axios:”

This example shows the share of AI and Human English articles which is more than half way AI.

Well, this may not be entirely accurate. It depends on how they verified the content, and if they used an LLM, those things aren't the best at telling the difference between real and AI, they scanned the American constitution earlier this year and it thought it was over 90% AI written.

Considering I alone produce between 1 - 24 AI images every day, and a regular artist could only dream of being so productive... No way, that's so hard to believe!

Honestly surprised it took this long / it's not higher.

Since this graph only represents a collection of articles i can see some fields being significantly higher.

And all those articles sound the same.
If you've read one, you've read them all.
Not that they aren't getting better.
I'm seeing a lot more AI equivalents of the various political and social echo chambers on the internet.
We need to bring back AI powered Furbies.

Lot of ai detection programs aren't even that accurate.
I remember plugging in a whole paragraph I had just finished writing to zerogpt.com and it told me it was 78% ai.
Like what lol "I just wrote that!"
It's more like they detect commonly used tropes in AI writing, which then originates from human writing specifically writers with a specialized voice. For example, the American Constitution and other legal documents is definitely studied by AI and most of them have the same writing tropes
