Aye something to separate PC's from NPC's is way better! Especially since NPC's should have their own different thing since most won't be guild members!
  So people would rather just have a dedicated thread for everyone's NPCs?

Is this what everyone is saying?

Libary for NPCs? or is that just gonna be more clutter.

Either that or on the Character card for the NPC it says NPC sheet instead of character sheet.

I agree that NPC clutter can be scary, instead of having some nicely developed npcs we could end up with tons of undeveloped npcs.

Well... can we group those in the same role? Also mark deceased NPC so we can actively cull their number?

Having say, around 5 NPC would give everyone freedom to do something to those NPC.

I have no problem with either of those. However, if we really wanted to have a thread for NPCs, I nominated the name Hall of Name! :blob_joy:

Setting-wise, I think that it's great to have a Hall of Name because what would be the excuse of the NPCs that aren't in Adventurer Guild?

On this part, how can we kill an npc. What if someone wants it to stay alive?

Personally, I think it makes sense to dump all characters (players or NPC) on the Registration Thread, but however it makes the most sense to people?

It makes it easy to Forum Search too.

I like having NPCs away from the registration thread~

I mean... How many new people will read through it to check for NPCs!? >.<

I think it could work, though I'd honestly prefer them on the google sites... But I do perfectly understand the feeling of not wanting to put the effort of putting them there... It's a lot of work for something that may seem pointless... T.T (has wiki flashbacks)

I think that, if you're making an entry for an NPC to make them public use, then their life is also on jeopardy due to public decisions.

If you have future plans for an NPC, then you should keep them to yourself~

I mean, IMO it's really simple for people to just put "NPC" on their character sheet.

...But it's fine by me if people really want an NPC thread?

Well... can we group those in the same role? Also mark deceased NPC so we can actively cull their number?
On the GM side, I absolutely do not want to spend my time maintaining NPCs. There's simply too many of them and it's not a very good use of my time.

IMO, there's not really a strong reason why the references rule in the Library makes sense with NPCs.

Most NPC's are the brainchild of a single individual, so they usually have a set appearance, personality, backstory, etc at the time of creation. It's not usually expected that NPC's will grow or change dynamically like a "Slime" Library entry might.

PM? Each NPC is corroborated with a source, isn't it? If you want to kill a named, just contact the person who made them.

No bodies, no death. Just write as if they died while making it unclear if they died or not.

@AliceShiki About Slime Horde quest, I had my Solet' Luna learned that the Slime Horde was approaching and that one of the City Guard Captains, Lord Wiscard Bruhn, assembled a squad of guards to assert the situation— His whereabouts, even now, remained unknown... Maybe some deaths to boost the mental pressure of the event? :blob_hide:

That kind of works I guess. You can bring them back anytime by saying they didn't die, but after a while I feel that the impact/ tension of a npc dying might lose its weight.

Eh? Why does this matter? It is library entry. Those who made it means those NPC are public use, right? So it is the responsibility of those people who put them to put it in the correct group.

I mean, my experience with shimura's wife was that someone contacted me first. So... since the NPC fall to public use, it was free for all.
