Also has the concept of a dungeon been brought up yet?

I don't think we can do dungeon crawling at the moment. ( People are generally at level2-3 and are not really that adventurous )

I was planning to expand the plot and uncover some ruins/dungeons when I hit lvl3, enough to see some danger and not die like a useless NPC.

Never had to repeat any quests either, I feel like the points offered are honestly quite good. If anything, it's the subsequent rank ups at the C-S rank range that worries me.

...Also, Feather-chan, I seem to recall you saying something about going to bed. :blobspearpeek:
Ohko said that the plan was to make it harder to get levels in the higher ranks, so it'll probably be fine~
Yes it is. Everything fun is gated behind lvl 2+ quests too. For some reason quests seem to favour mob killing too despite the fact that being a proper maid or office work for a day is way harder than dealing with some slimes. To some extent I feel people here are equating exp to battle progress and danger than experience.
I don't know why you think that cleaning the ground is harder than killing monsters that can melt you alive.
I mean, I clean my home, wash my clothes and cook for myself all the time, and it's not really hard, it's just tiring and kinda boring.
Put a slime in front of me and I'll run away as fast as I can though. Not to mention many might get paralyzed when faced with the need to kill someone else and die due to that... It's a lot more dangerous and harder to fight slimes than to do maid work.

It feels totally appropriate for the more dangerous quests to be the ones that give more exp.

... Not to mention you can just appraise 20 reports and skip lv 1 entirely if you wish to. I appraised 10 just yesterday, so it's not really that hard, yanno? You could easily get that done in 2 days.
Say... guys, how do you decide when an event would go south? Honestly, I like tragic character, so I'm biased to write bad event - bad event - bad ending when I am in fun mode. Otherwise, when I wrote something that should be written in 30 minutes to 1 hour, it feels bland.
On my whims! It's fun to put a character in troubled situations! \(^^)/
I kind of find more interesting @AliceShiki 's character that is going to be stuck prepromotion because of her inability to fight than find a way to promote her anyway.
We did talk about alternative methods of promotion too at some point.
What Ohko said, we talked about it, though I'm not sure any conclusion was reached~

But well, if Nene can't level, that's fine, the low level quests are still fun anyways~
:blob_dizzy::blob_dizzy::blob_dizzy:

I can't decide. I like how this one shortened the entire thing by sticking the rewards in the header, though it gets more complicated with the quests that have more details rewards.

I like how the table center-aligned all the titles, because then it doesn't compete with the mass of these tags:

Which are all left-aligned.

As are the Level headings.

Maybe we can play around with more formats.
I think the table format is fine tbh, especially the new one that makes it easier to see rewards when in plain text~

Also, I tried copy pasting the table and it worked properly as well, just like you said it did! >.<
Ugh, why does ctrl+enter send messages, I keep accidentally hitting it
Ikr!? I hate that! >.<
Sasuga Ophi, Alice's training is now so deeply ingrained, it even shows up on your characters.
*rolls laughing* I can't wait to read this report~
Also has the concept of a dungeon been brought up yet?
Not yet I believe~

Make a custom quest! There's a lot of interesting stuff that people have found, so build on that!

Alternatively, have you character go exploring -- and complete a quest along the way. Some characters did that with the healing herb quest, and the See Something quest is also very vague and adaptable for anything you'd like to try.

Agreed with @GDLiZy --

When you make a quest, consider how strong a person should be in order to challenge it.

If you consider the level table, what level do you think someone should be in order to challenge a dungeon?

Of course, it's definitely possible to make an easy dungeon or a mini-dungeon, and I would definitely encourage that!

I would like mostly players to hit level 7-ish extremely easily.

Nobody should ever need to worry about being stuck at level 1-3 and feel like they're locked out of content for being too weak.

If that's the case, I'd prefer to raise the exp gain for the first couple levels if people already feel like they're bored.

Can I get some more opinions about whether people prefer table vs. plain text?

Can't decide which to go with -- because in either case it would mean I would need to go through and change everything again!

Well... So far there was only one person that felt like level 1 was hard to get out of... I dunno, it feels very easy to me right now.

I'm fine with either myself, but if the table makes it easier for you, I'd say it's better to keep it as table~

I'm fine with the tables but if you could change it to the version that looks good even as plain text that would be great. Having to go look through the quests just to find the one someone quoted is a bit of a pain. No rush though. :blob_reach:

While we're on this, how much should a steel baseball bat cost? It's better than iron so...twice the amount?

I guess? Doesn't seem like a bad way to go about it~

... Though where would you find a steel baseball bat for sale is beyond me.

Considering how hard steel is to make I'd say like triple the amount?

also if it's hollow that will change the price a lot.

If you feel like it would be tough to find, maybe you can quest yourself into one xD

Looks like a commissioning is in order.

Hmm, weight isn't a problem, the heavier the better actually.

Custom Quest: Locate a dwarven blacksmith and commission a bat...maybe? :blob_hide:
