Regarding secret agents:
  • There's a Level 5 Scribel City quest you can take if you want your character to be one of @GM's secret agents.
  • There is an unknown number of guild secret agents.
  • @GM's secret agents generally serve the purposes of the guild. As well as other things.
  • Nobody knows what the objectives of @GM's secret agents are.
  • Even @GM's secret agents don't know the identity or objectives of other agents.
  • Most of @GM's secret agents have unique orders. Agents are not aware of other agents' orders.

That's great! I am really in to that... Kinda wish I didn't make Zorion such a melodramatic roller-coaster now... might have to raise Echo a bit more...

There are so many different pathways to explore in Spire Reef! A pirate's slave, a merchant's slave, a pirate, a gang member, a whale hunter, a slave merchant :sweating_profusely: Although the main pair are definitely pirates vs gangs :blob_happy:
Looks like if one of us wants to change occupation we'd need to fake our deaths/escapes and alter our outward appearances :blobspearpeek:

Ah, just a question for the E rank exam. Is the "survive 2 weeks" part a time limit for the quest? Or simply a rough estimate of the time required?

It's been 10 years since I set off on my E-rank exam, and I believe that I have fully explored my incredible potential inside the Gem Ravine. With my exceptional talent and skill I saw no need to immediately complete the task at hand since it would take me less than 2 weeks to achieve. In other words, it will be a deeply philosophical report delving into the depths of Exal's psyche and analysing what makes him him while also showing the development of his human side. At the same time describing the events that lead to him getting stronger physically, as well as mentally.

Well, partially, I suppose? How deep can one go into the psyche of a computer? :sweat_smile:

Tbh, it's going to be far simpler than you think, because the basis of Exal is far simpler than a human brain and body.

I thought one of your aims was to develop the human personality in him, though?
Wouldn't that mean needing him to analyse what makes a human a human, etc...?
