I also agree that meme ads are cringy as shit and I also hate seeing them whenever I decide to browse RR for whatever reason.
If I became possessed and decided to blow money on RR ads for my story, I'd avoid memes personally despite being a notorious meme queen myself.

Low quality scribble/stick figure memes feels insincere imo. Highly bet majority of people only click out of curiosity, wondering who the hell is committing art war crimes, I've had such thoughts and temptations myself.

That being said, sometimes, we don't need to jump off a bridge just because we see thousands of other people doing it. But it's also alright to gaze over the side of the bridge, to see what's going on, or walk along down to the water's edge than dive in head first.

Nobody's offended. I just don't know what you expect me to do with this information. It's been proven that meme ads are the most effective kind of ad on Royal Road. Why bring up that you don't like them unless you think that I'm going to switch to a less effective type of ad just because you like those better?
