    Royal Road?

I like Ritoria. It's quite chill, but definitely not as much traffic as Scribblehub or RR. Can also have the occasional weird bug.

    How do you write?

I'm working on two things at once, and trade off between them in rotation. As each chapter is completed, it goes on Patreon for a week, and the one that has been on Patreon already for a week gets posted to Scribblehub. In between these things I work on my non-serial novels.

Do you think Scribblehub should ban ai generated novels?

I've never read an interesting AI story, so I'd want to definitely be able to filter them out. I can just tell when something is written by AI. There's no joy in it. I mean, I'm sure I can't tell 100% of the time, but close enough.

What software/apps are you guys using right now ?

I don't know. I just know that I am old and have arthritis and carpal tunnel, so there are often breaks with ice packs.

    What's your favorite fantasy creature?

    Wendigos are fascinating and chilling.

What are the themes of your stories?

Thank you! I might take you up on that at some point.

What are the themes of your stories?

Oh, I don't know that I have the chops to do it either, so I can't promise that I've addressed it effectively. But, all you can do is try, right?

What are the themes of your stories?

I think part of the theme of mine is that, at a certain size, an empire becomes impossible for a centralized government to effectively govern without autocratic or cruel practices.

How long does it take you to write a chapter?

I write 1000 words a day, no matter what. So, I can usually update my story once every one or two weeks, since I mostly work on my novels. The serial is more just a fun breaktime activity.

Stories where the people of the world only have one gender

The story I am currently writing (see my signature) does have a main character who comes from a planet where people are born genderless. (They call it the "Nor" gender.)

    Question

I do know someone who believed their own lies, yes. However, I also believe that the mental health of that person was extraordinarily poor.

What is the sickest or most horrifying thing you have written?

I think it would be one of the things I wrote in a novel. A princess and her loyal guard get thrown in prison. He has to watch as some absolutely terrible things are done to her. Ultimately, she can't take it and he can't do anything as she kills herself.

I'm not an expert, I just write from the heart.

I just really enjoy writing. It's one of the few things in the world that brings me joy, and when I finish something I am proud of, it makes me happy. As someone who battles Major Depression, writing is something I can turn to that always gives me a boost. I don't really care if I am good at...

What is THE best genre to write?

What? No Non-fiction? Such disappointment!! (j/k)

Should your selfish hero consider themself virtuous?

My most selfish "hero" believes himself virtuous, but his "virtues" are pretty lousy. He thinks he's the most wicked, devious, morally corrupt person. But truthfully, he's just kind of a lonely kid trying to be a badass.

What art have you commissioned/received for your novel?

I use Midjourney to make pictures for my stuff. Here's one of the Emperor as a young man.

Writing Types of Characters You Like Writing About.

I like writing about characters that are very foreign to the normal human experience. Aliens, for instance, are interesting because you have to think so much about every little aspect of what they do and who they are. Finding humanity in the inhuman is a very interesting puzzle. I also like...

    My Cover Art. Feedback?

I saw your cover art in another thread and was thinking, "That really stands out!" I think you did a great job.

Why Is The Edgelord Arch-type So Popular?

There are a lot of people out there whose emotions are constantly in a state of turmoil (for whatever reason) so the idea that they could embody this emotionally-controlled, unaffected character is appealing. A lot of people are pushed around by society, so writing about someone who has immense...
