Fantasy. It's the easiest to write out cop outs if you've written yourself into a corner, but also if you're really into worldbuilding, you could probably do something complicated and wonderful.

Systems are the most common nowadays, but because its a fantasy world, you could use multiple ways of powerscaling, such as cultivation styling, or perhaps something more grounded like circles, or do all of them, because its a fantasy world and your rules are your rules to make.

Like stands from jojo are total fantasy, and you see the mileage that's been made out of that.

And on a darker note, you can definitely do some more twisted things in fantasy if you're so inclined, like relations between humans and I dunno dragons, or werewolves and orcs. Anything you can imagine.

I think smut in fantasy can definitely go places if you're willing to go down that path.I mean, off the top of my head, omegaverse, futanari, tentacles, non human creatures, aliens, elves, werewolves, orcs, etc etc. Half of that can definitely also be done in the scifi genere, but I find that scifi and fantasy often go hand in hand.

As someone who has written multiples of these, fantasy is all encompassing for the most part so it's probably the best (and easiest) to write. I would also say that historical is super easy to write because despite all the research that is needed, it comes with a preset mold to work with. Isekai is also super easy because it makes it much easier to show the readers your world since the MC is also new to the world they are in. Romance is really hard because you either need experience with romance or a good understanding of how romance works. People who have never experienced romance are at a disadvantage because nobody truly understands real romance. This is why most romance novels feel forced or like they are solely wish fulfillment. Action/adventure is also easy, only because it is such a vague genre that most stories can be classified as an action/adventure.

I mainly write sci-fi/fantasy because it just comes easy to me. I do chuck in a bit of romance because why not? If I can make my stuff funny, wholesome, a bit weird/creepy and have a bit of lovey-dovey stuff in there then I've not completely bollocksed it all up. XD
