    Consistency Issue

Naww, that's actually really common. When I get too focused, I might turn out 30,000 words in two days and then go unconscious. If you can handle it (work, pay rent), it's best to lean INTO your productivity cycles, in my experience. Otherwise you risk LOSING your most productive and creative...

How do you control an overpowered character so they don't break the story?

"Make 'em stupid" is also a useful strategy.

How many covers has your book had?

This is something we ALL discover. 90% of everything is crap, but when it comes to art, it's closer to 99% I spent two HUNDRED DUCKS on this cover for my first book 'i kobold'. This was BEFORE AI overload. last week, my wife spent a couple of hours on a custom-designed software image...

How do you control an overpowered character so they don't break the story?

Make them the villain :) OP villains are absolute FUEL for story development.

The laziest thing you do as an author?

The laziest thing I do? Not tell other authors what they are doing wrong to avoid feuds.

The laziest thing you do as an author?

I let Grammarly do my editing.

How do you get over writer's block?

Lots of sleep and then one of those gigantic 'Bubba' mugs with coffee until your teeth jitter. Good luck NOT writing :)

Adult vs Mature vs Smut. What's the difference?

Certain people will be offended by ANY sexual content, so if you have a scene, good or not, that describes naked sex organs, or their interactions, it's safer just to tag it with mature. If I am reading space mecha milfic, I don't want the writer talking about boobie sex without a warning.

Unsolicited Offers - Author-Nim How do you deal with it?

It's actually very simple. If they send you a Personal message praising your 'work' without mentioning it, It's title, character names or any other details, they are conning you. Feel free to abusively reply, just as if you caught someone trying to break into your car with a slim-jim.

How do you control an overpowered character so they don't break the story?

I like psychological weaknesses :) Delilah didn't defeat Sampson by kicking his butt and arm wrestling him into submission.

How do you control an overpowered character so they don't break the story?

You can also always kill them to prove that the threat is serious. That's a classic hook, because after you kill the OP character, the protagonist no longer feels OP.

What's your reason for not writing LitRPG fiction?

I actually quite like LitRPG, as long as the author doesn't overdo it. That's the thing, though... most authors overdo it. At Any Price is arguably litrRPG, but I think I have it show like... two times, and the entire 'character sheet' is small enough to fit on the face of a watch. Then again...

How do you control an overpowered character so they don't break the story?

Make them a dumbass. Seriously, people can't think of EVERYTHING. My character is a bit OP, but sometimes he just doesn't think of stuff. Humanity is terribly complex.

What's your favorite type of Magic System?

As long as it 'enhances' the storytelling and options instead of acting like a crutch to get around logic and story problems, I am fine with just about any system, from cards to snarky systems. I do, however, get irritated by series that try to explain it away as 'darkly realistic'. Magic is...

    Beta Readers and AI

Scribblehub USED to be a great place to find beta readers, but I think all the translated pap has scared them off.

    Advertising fiction (paid)

Not me. AI still can't write for crap. What it IS good for, though, is going through and catching minor misspellings. I basically use it as an editor. but I have to be careful, because there are some 'edits' it tries to make due to its politics that you have to keep on guard for. For instance...

Err... Sturgeon's law. Ooops. There's a reason I am cruising the forums instead of writing this early in the morning :P

How much can you bend the meaning of a tag?

well, if you were an AI-translated writer, your tags don't actually have any bearing on your story, they just exist to get you the maximum exposure possible. Gotta get those American bucks!

    Advertising fiction (paid)

Much as I hate to admit it, it works. Bear in mind, right now, writers who write good stories are in a massive uphill battle. Clarke's law hits VERY hard, especially places like here and RR. Even worse if you are trying to make a living as a writer, no matter how good your writing is. The AI...

What's your reason for not writing LitRPG fiction?

I write some litrpg, but character sheets pad your word count, and some authors substitute mechanics for plot. It sucks. I recently TRIED to read a book that was litrpg, gamelit, AND haremlit, about a video game character fighting for... something. Every bad trope of the genre. The writer...
