Looking for cheat novels that complements current world power system.

Here's a story I've been reading with google translate. The guys golden finger is to steal power from evil gods. It's called This Crazy Wizard is a Very Steady, (这个疯巫师稳得一批),

Apparently coming up with your own pantheon is hard… who knew?

Fair point. If none of those are good I can try a few more. Emotion, peace, harvest, arts and magic.

Apparently coming up with your own pantheon is hard… who knew?

Well, I can name a bunch of things and see if anything sticks. Chivalry, fertility, nobility, handicrafts, craftsmanship, revenge, hunting and justice.

Tell me about a "phase" in your life

I'm not sure what a phase is exactly. Is anything that's no longer true for you a phase? Then I guess childhood is a phase I passed. I was really worried about peak-oil for a while. Maybe that was a phase.

Update content warnings to include AI usage

Instead of a tag for AI content, maybe it would be better to have a tag for no AI content.

I found this thread on a Vietnamese writing group, and I would like to translate it for y'all to laugh at.

I was just watching YouTube, and AI complaints came up again. AI everywhere is seems. Bellow is someone in a YouTube video complain about AI ruining their life.

    Are you, you?

I'm not sure how my personality seems here, or in real life, but it's probably different. I have some issues with social phobia which has led to me not socializing much with people in real life. I communicate with people online more where it's less of a problem. As for exactly what it’s like...

What’s some weird ‘magic’ you've read about, or imagined?

I once asked Grok the earliest recorded use of a magical fireball in fiction, to which it gave me Robert E. Howard's "The Scarlet Citadel," published in 1933. This story features the wizard Tsotha-lanti using a shimmering, explosive magical attack, interpreted as a fireball-like spell. If true...

If you woke up a billionaire...?

    I'd start a blimp company.

Why use AI to write your "book"?

There is still a lot we don't know about in inner working of AI.

Are stories written by AI good?

There’s a lot of talk about AI stories, so I figured, why not add some more? So, is AI writing good?

    What even is "bad grammar"

I don't actually know the rules. I just know that after reading enough I started to get an instinct for what 'seems' right. Also, I use Grammarly and QuillBot. The combination of the two seems adequate, or at least no one has pointed out to me that it's a problem.

When system cheat and current world power system doesn't align.

I remember a Chinese story where the MC's system is a martial arts system, but he's in a wizard world, so he couldn't even do the first quest. Instead, he just uses the system to grind proficiency for spells. I don't know what happened later as it got too stupid, so I lost interest.

    What would you write?

I'd write "<my name> is watching.", and then I'd be famous forever, and confuse people at the same time.

What’s your favorite explanation for fantasy worlds being "real"?

It's like this with a lot of fiction that brings in "reality." It's like this with zombie movies as well. The first zombie movie has no issue, but after you've had decades of zombie movies, then you have to wonder if the people in the movie know about zombies from watching movies. If they know...

What’s your favorite explanation for fantasy worlds being "real"?

Thanks for your comment! I see where the confusion might come from, so let me clarify. My question is about stories where a fictional “reality” (like a fictional version of our world) exists alongside fantasy worlds that are “real” within that story’s universe. For example, imagine a story where...

What’s your favorite explanation for fantasy worlds being "real"?

It's a pretty common trope in fantasy to have multiple fictional universes be "real". For example, maybe in one story both Naruto and One Piece are real. Sometimes this is explained, sometimes not, but either way, I’m curious about what explanations are more popular and what people think about...

What’s your take on kill systems in web novels? (i.e., any mechanism where the MC gains power directly from killing, like leveling up, etc.)

I remember watching that show thinking none of them seem any stronger no matter how many times they do the whole lighting thing.

What’s your take on kill systems in web novels? (i.e., any mechanism where the MC gains power directly from killing, like leveling up, etc.)

Let's define a kill system as any mechanism where the MC gains power directly from killing, like leveling up, earning system rewards, or absorbing enemies’ strength. This doesn’t include general growth from overcoming challenges. I’m curious about people's opinion on this popular fantasy...

    Dwarves as the Antagonists?

Because of Tolkien and his books the Lord of The Rings, and The Hobbit. That guy invented the modern dwarves and elves. There are some evil dwarves in D&D like the Duergar. and their are also some evil dwarves in Warhammer called The Chaos Dwarfs. As for dwarves before Tolkien, I'm lazy...
