Sounds like you are making good progress. I'd say stick with one a week until you are comfortable with your new pace of writing and have some backlog, then consider changing to two a week, maybe three a week if you continue to get more done than you post.

I've seen a number of bad authors, but they aren't just because you dislike what they write. Stuff like half the words being misspelled, including their title. Or zero punctuation. Or one who wrote 'chapters' one sentence long, and was praising hitler and genocide. That guy got banhammered...

Personally, I've never had that problem. I just make the world, toss the characters in, then observe what happens and write it down. Worse case is I just don't know what to cut out to make it less boring, or how to describe something better.
