Hi hello hope all is well, I'm here to request that the stats for dropped and paused readers to not be listed in the readers amount for a story for the very simple reason that it's kind of a bummer for me to get excited about a "new reader" and it's just some random person dropping my story for...
give them a shared hobby that one offered to the other as a way to bond familial-like and then add stupid pranks alongside lingo and annoying habits that cause them to snipe at one another without going overboard
if you write yourself into a corner, try backing out; go over what you've already done and see if you can rephrase or shift something to wiggle out something loose in the plot that better fits the vibes you're aiming for.
