    Things are not like before

Hmm. Could be you're bored. I get bored writing every book/story in the same style, so I change my approach. Outline, no outline, outline with nothing more than chapter headings, pre-write, then write without an outline, or just sit down with a two sentence blurb and get going to see where the...

Swords. We should talk about them.

Lol. You're inspiring me! The sword isn't just more difficult to use, taking years to master, it's a piece of artistry, and extremely expensive. Hence why it was the weapon of a noble. Interestingly enough, European sword is also shaped quite like our Christian cross giving it added meaning on...

    Could Use Some Help

Anyone who uses that crap is no writer, they're a pretender/hack at best. Discard that, and stop helping our wannabe slave master program our watchdog big brother overlord.

    A discussion on target audiences

Speaking of D2D, do you think it's any good? I've been using Smashwords, but not much traffic on my works. I got about twenty as well.

    What's the point?

I second this. Just because our culture is Marxist now, doesn't mean it's okay to make racist comments even if it's the in-thing to hate on white folks. I write a lot of characters that aren't white, main characters, even, but not because I'm trying to avoid whiteness. But so what if I did write...

Hard Magic System or Soft Magic System?

Magic is supernatural, otherwise it's science. So I'll ask you to "pick one." Soft magic can carry with it any stakes the writer decides, and legitimately so, now whether soft magic can be used by the characters as a tool to escape danger or utilize to great benefit as a tool or crutch is...

Any writers making money off this site?

Sounds like a cool idea. Would be nice to actually have the site behave like an online book seller too, where authors can upload EPUB files and sell them in volumes or whatever.

Any writers making money off this site?

This is why I don't like the Patreon model. I want to upload stories, and then have aspects of the stories locked behind a paywall, basically in the form of digital and physical volumes they can buy. Maybe you should try that.

Any writers making money off this site?

I don't like the Patreon model. I want to have advance chapters locked behind completed volumes readers can buy, or even extra side stories (maybe the spicy kind.) Thoughts?

Hard Magic System or Soft Magic System?

Then it's not soft, Because magic is not science undiscovered, magic is supernatural, from the gods. If you look into the history of magic, it comes from the gods, or some supernatural Gaia force. It is NOT science. It's not material, it's spiritual.

Have you ever looked back at a chapter you wrote, look at its quality and think "what the fucking shit is this" "which abomination wrote this"

I must be lucky, because this never happens to me. Sometimes I get the feeling that it's crap while I'm writing, but when I go back and read the next day, or in a week or a month or whatever, I'm always very surprised at how good it is. How many words have you written, little grasshoppa?
