I might be missing something in the meaning here. Wouldn't that magic box actually be that AI program the person is using to give the prompt? I've seen a similar reaction to Artists that have been dealing with AI art for a long time now. Many would probably fight over the concept of an AI artist.

While I do value the point you're making, the one big difference is that the director you are referring to did put in real work and effort to accomplish that piece of art. Giving AI a prompt, I'm not real sure counts in the same way.

I'm not real sure that I'm willing to split hairs on the concept of what is and isn't publishing. My question was more a reflection on reasons to use it. Which thanks to the responses, I'm getting a more rounded look at the topic.

It's also the concept that there's so much AI out there, that before human eyes can figure out if a story is AI, there are 20 more. It's like catching speeders without radar. At some point the site will have to trust something.

I would agree with you on something as low as say 1-10%, as that could be due to using some kind of editor. But come on, it will not see 90% as AI unless its really overwhelming. I mean I could even "maybe" see 30% as an error - but 60-70-80 and up? I tend to believe the checker, I doubt anyone...

I can see that. I mean I've seen a couple at 10-12% but I'm thinking that's more of an editing thing over an actual AI writing it. The few that I've seen below 10% I don't even consider.

Question surrounding this topic. At what percentage would you actually trust ZeroGPT? I mean I've seen a few at 5% some at 11% and recently one at over 80%. What metric do you all trust after looking at the result?

This isn't your work. According to Zerogpt this is over 80% AI which isn't allowed.

The AI detection I used said that it was anywhere between 25-48% AI created. Like I said it was chapter 1 that was so out of the ordinary that I took a chance and there it was.
