    Hoshi's Feedback thread

Every time I post on one of these, I never get anything back, but I may as well give it the old college try. The Devil Been Isekai | Scribble Hub, thanks if you get around to it.

What is the premise of your fiction in the form of a thesis question?

How does a man get home with only a gun, knife and a flask?

As an author, how do you feel when writing villains who commit crimes or immoral acts?

My main character has been shown to do more awful things than most of the villains, mostly because most villains were one-shot and he has the most screen time so far. But to actually answer the question, I fit somewhat bad when I started but I don't really now.

    I'm tired of OP heros

My main protagonist doesn't even have power, just a gun, a knife, and booze. Also he doesn't have a left eye and have a bum leg

What motivated you to stop being a reader and write your own fiction?

I was reading a bunch of manwha isekai and watching a good sum as well. I went nuts after reading the same thing and watching the same things over and over again, so I finally broke. I opened Google Docs and typed up around a few hundred words and uploaded it to Wattpad and then Royal Roads...

Can We Fix Isekai? (Lost Zoro Story)

This isn't a Zoro fanfic, but I've been trying to make a good isekai. But I hope you get a good fanfic.

Who is the moral compass in your fiction?

I just realized that there are no real moral compasses in my novel, but there is no real morality in the novel. In the novel it even said that V (the protagonist and narrator, kind of) does not believe in morality. The closest thing would be the kid/Violet, but she hasn't been used much so far...

What does “psychological” even mean as a genre?

If you ever seen the anime Steins Gate or Serial Experiments Lain, these would fall under the psychological genre. I've been tentically writting a psychological book because it goes in deep on the main character's slowly unraveling psyche.

What would your relationship with your MC be like if they were alive?

Oh, me and good old V. If he were alive right now, he would be 45. We would only meet once at some shady bar somewhere in Japan by accident. The bar would have some slow jazz in the background (like the bar scene in Jupiter Jazz (Part 1)) it would be snowing outside. I would enter the bar to...

What makes your fiction worth reading at least once in a lifetime?

Hm, what would I say for Devil Been Isekai? If I were to say one thing about why Devil Been Isekai is worth reading, it's an investigation into man's nature, with unflinching determination. Also the main character is fun to read.

How are YOU going to fix the genre you hate or dislike?

I've actually been trying to do this with my novel right now. I won't say I hate isekai, but I was constantly disappointed by how generic all of them were so, I created my own. With character depth, an incredibly dark story (did that by accident), no harem, and no overpowered MC. Just a sad...

How many chapters does it take on average to start gaining steady writer?

Oh, I must apologize for not understanding your meaning the first time around. And another thing, I must apologize for not exactly understanding the difference between what viewers and readers are. I have to guess that a reader is a constant reader and views only view. Do, to name, I'm...

How many chapters does it take on average to start gaining steady writer?

Hey, I don't want to sound rude, but it seems like you're doing pretty good, friend. 909 Views 17 Favorites And 6 readers seems good. All I have to say is if you are writing something good and writing something you believe you would read, people will read. This last comment is totally...

Your MC is forced into teen drama.

V was in high school from 1994 to 1996. If we're doing teenage V, he'll still be a philosophical smartass, but not insane. But if this is V right now in the book sent back to 1995, everything would become really depressing really fast. He wouldn't care too much about the dance itself. He...

Gimme a fun fact about your main character/s that isn't all that important to the story but interesting to know!

Never been exactly brought up in the book, my main character V was born in Japan and lived there for the first three to five years of his life, then lived in America until he was 18, almost 19, when he went back to Japan till he was 32, when he got isekai.
