I Spat On The Eye of The God

I thought everyone agrees that Solo Leveling is mediocre at storytelling. It's the case of good art carries a bad story.

As a reader: Which one do you like - a webby plot or a straight plot?

Both as a reader and an author, I like the overarching plot. It keeps adding depth and meaning to the past and building a larger, more comprehensive picture of the story as it progresses. Fluff novels bore me to all ends. Honestly, almost exclusively read fluffy visual media for arts and sounds...

How Many Grievous Mistakes Have You Made In Life?

I'm the personification of perfection descending from the wholeness above to look down unto the inferiority of the flawed reality.

How would you end your story?

The moment I started writing, I already know (or have some idea) how it will end. I have an overarching theme and question to echo and answer, so the plot and the development only need to flow towards that point.

    Pantsers & Thoughts?

Pantsing isn't suitable for anything ever, period. It's like going on with your life just by guts feeling with no plan. It's a disaster of knowing nothing and refusing to learn. You need at least some directions to ensure some relevance of your choices. Sometimes it can work, but it's up to...

    Doing the 'boring' chapters...

you can have fun and interesting scenes that aren't just action-packed or fast pace. Boring doesn't mean slow. It means uninteresting. It's case by case. Only you know what that scene is and what it lacks or can be improved upon. Your creativity is the solution to make things interesting.

    The most underrated fantasy/medieval weapon...

It has its use, specifically good against armoured targets (strangely non-existent in most fantasy novels). Spears are showstoppers for big unarmoured armies of peasants, but against skilful armoured knight, the staff has a better chance to win through attrition. Also, adrenaline can't shrug...

    The most underrated fantasy/medieval weapon...

Staff is easier to manipulate and still cause serious damage to the opponent with just one hit, armoured or not. Yes, people tried to use a rapier, but most of them are using it wrong in the sense that they aren't just sword but faster.

Secret to Trending Through Observation of Some Novels

After my observation of the past few weeks, I've concluded that there is a definite way to gain a massive amount of readers and success, hugely increasing the chance to go on trending. Here are the three which I've selected to illustrate my point. The first novel has 900 readers. The second...
