    What's love?

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always...

    Don't be a klutz!

Despite your mistake, your advice has backing from the Bible. (imaginary thumbs up.) Well I guess the thumbs up is real, you just can't see it.

    Morality vs Survival

I can only think of one good answer. Rather than sacrificing no one or someone else, the protagonist should sacrifice themselves. To sacrifice another is evil. To sacrifice no one in this hypothetical situation (assuming someone ABSOLUTELY has to be sacrificed) for one's own morals is evil...

    Is a vigilante an anti-hero?

Typically not. At least in fiction. Take spider man for example, he is a vigilante. He is also, most certainly, a hero. Now let's look at Deadpool. He's an anti-hero. He's also a criminal. The punisher Is an anti-hero though, and he's a vigilante, he's also a complete criminal. So no...

How do you write a believable human protagonist?

Part of being human is not knowing things. So make it so that your protagonist doesn't know everything and sometimes come to the wrong decision/assumption. But not all the time.

Ah, you see I once suffered from the same thing. But all you need to know is this; the difference between writing a male and female character is the difference between the sun and the next nearest sun. Which is to say you write a character that is a female. Or in other words, Character comes...

The lord is good. (technically not talking about religion.)

The lord my God has seen fit to share eternity with us. The only cost has already been payed. All we need do is accept. So, if you will believe on the lord Jesus christ and that he perished for your sakes and was risen three days later, then you will be saved. "I'm technically Not talking...

How do I kill off a character cleanly and smoothly without any regrets?(Unedited)

Past tense is writing something as if happened in the past. Present tense is writing it likes it happening right now. Most stories are written in past tense. They also generally stick to that tense, which you should do as well. It makes things easier to read.

First chapter, please read and give opinion.

Thanks, and don't worry about using "for" it wouldn't be wrong for you to do so. English is just an oddly subtle language where are there a multitude of ways to say the same thing with a lot of those ways being correct, sometimes even if their 'grammatically' incorrect. It's actually quite...

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the read. I agree with most of your points and I see how I could have handled them better now. Though when it comes to your first point I can see how you were confused, but let me explain why I wrote it that way. 'I got up, then, moving kept my mind...

First chapter, please read and give opinion.

I was cold, shivering, and stuck outside because my door had frozen shut. Or in other words, it was just another day in the slums. The cold, ruined, horrible slums. It was wasteland out here during the winter, stuck between the growing city and the unmoving palace walls. Still, I survived. I...
