Well, I keep a dream diary, but that's more geared for recording dreams. I don't really keep a diary diary.

I can read stories in 1st or 3rd person, but I find it easier to write in 3rd person. 3rd person is just more flexible and free for me to write in, b/c writing in 1st person makes me feel confined.

I don't know what to tell you, man, other than to repeat some of the nuggets already said here. If you're having a hard time writing your current story even after taking breaks, then it's one of two things: writer's block or burnout. If you're just blocked on what'll happen next in your story...
