I have read one or two manga/LNs where (elemental) magic is tied to periodic table elements, but the natives of the world don't know about those elements, so it remains just fire magic, earth magic etc., used at lower efficiency due to their poor understanding of the magic.

I would only make a slight change

As @LostLibrarian said, it's less about the name, and more about the context. Without context, half of those names are nothing more than simply weird or outright nonsensical. That said, for serious worldbuilding purposes, I would stay away from names too far detached from the official purpose...

If your cavalry charges the front of enemy formation, you're just asking to decimate your cavalry. Unless the formation in question is a rabble with no morale and/or without spears or spikes to protect themselves. What you want is a surprise charge into unprotected enemy flanks or rear...

There is no set rule for that. Some authors keep adding new books under the same series, while others mark the series as completed when a book ends and start posting the next book separately, linking them together as sequel/prequel. The former seems to be more common from my experience, though.

You advertise your story as Isekai, but the synopsis sounds as if they never leave their world. And another world is an integral part of the Isekai genre.

Using your example, if the author creates a universe where universe destroying powers are known to be possible, great example being Chinese cultivation novels, the reader only has themselves to blame if they don't like it. But if the author writes in present day Earth, no magic, no cultivation...
