Worse, those fictions are usually written by Women for Women. Then again bodice rippers have been popular for decades (Probably before 1972 but that is the official year for the "Genre" name of it), so I guess nothing really has changed on that front as much as just the settings it is set in.

It is really hard to sort through when I have used it in the past, using its Genre tags as they have 20+ Genre names for the same or even just slightly related thing.

Nah, its not end game by far. Not giving away spoilers, it is cyclic but each cycle adds slightly more information, some of it is misinformation. Its just a very, very long read.
