I haven't had the chance to read it yet as I'm (supposedly) writing right now. But I'll definitely be happy to assist when I'm able to read it. If you find yourself needing help before then, feel free to reach out on here.
Hoping for some feedback on my newest webnovel, Fursekai! Link is in my Sig.
It's a furry isekai harem (thus the title, a portmanteau of "furry" and "Isekai"). Chapter 1 introduces the isekai factor. Chapter 2 shows the new world. Chapter 3 introduces the first furry character. That's all...
It certainly sounds entertaining! So the premise of self-aware characters would mean movies like Deadpool or Free Guy would be good. I'd recommend taking in other mediums than just stories for ideas, so you don't accidentally infringe too directly. That said, I have dabbled with a similar idea...
Can you post a link? It definitely sounds entertaining. I think I'd most be interested in how the author vs character goes, especially considering if the author is the one writing it, how would informing the reader that Elena is self-aware without violating their own rules that they don't...
not a huge fan of the genre (I prefer Zelda-esque adventure games and FF-like JRPGs), but I had fun playing Mortal Shell, which is supposedly a soulslike game.
It's not that I feel burned out. Just that my brain has times when it's hyperfocused on writing and times when it's focused on everything else that isn't writing.
but still, as long as I'm able to get SOMETHING done, I'm happy :)
ahh. Well, to each their own. I toss the whole writing process and just outline primary points. Beyond that, I just kinda sit and write and take notes of lore I've included.
Have you used Grammarly? It's far from perfect, but it can help speed up editing considerably. I still use the free version. The lack of a dark mode is annoying, but it's still useable. I use it to catch most of my issues. And it simply tells you the issues rather than force-fixing them.
it's up to you. Many people would say whatever you can do long-term. if you can't write 3 chapters a week, then figure out how many you can write in a week (without quality drop) and upload that many on a solid schedule.
there's no real big issue with a patchy schedule, however, as long as you...
Just curious if there's a reason I can find out why my novel, which just had a chapter go live nearly 50 minutes ago, isn't in the list of latest updates. It's chapter 3 and theres plenty of views on 1&2. My other novels showed up reliably every time. But this one hasn't been shown on the list...
want something different? My favorite 3 are: Yogurt, Chickin biscuits (the chicken flavored wheat chip things) and triscuits with french onion or sour cream and onion dip.
lol I do agree it's definitely top-tier. the book was good too, despite being completely different from the movie. But I wouldn't go so far as to say HTTYD inspired Two Faces. my actual thought train involved another 18+webnovel I read years ago about a Mimic chest that became sentient.
I've done something similar. My story, Two Faces, is reader interactive. I write a poll, they vote on what they want to do. The highest vote wins.
Not saying you should read it, but if you do, beware R18+ content. My fans are horny people.
It's something I was thinking about with my story Two Faces. It's got a system as an actual character, which I use 1x1 grids with her dialogue currently. I was considering creating an actual Dialogue Box for her.
