    Altered Gender Ratio Settings.

Oh, also, keeping in mind society with skewed birth rate like this may not have developped the same reproductive system humans have. Hidden ovulation at semi random state is understood to be an evolutionary advantage to encourage males to stay with their partner, and then raise the child...

    Altered Gender Ratio Settings.

Funny annecdote, but in Final Fantasy XI and XIV canon, the catgirls have an altered ration like this. I thing is 1:5 or so, maybe 1:8? I think the designers wrote that in knowing there would be way more catgirls than catboys running around. But also because of the lion-like societies they...

What do you think of this idea for the story I'm working on, The Plague of Butterflies?

That sound like Jason Asano's affliction-spreading butterflies as seen in He Who Fight With Monsters. If you want to explore the idea, maybe check it out, as it's a strong comparable.

Is there such a thing as trying to hard to sound epic?

Absolutely. A lot of authors try so hard to make their blurb stand out they don't realise how it works against them. 1) for the cringe 2) drowning in a sea of cringe Going for something snappy and simple tends to work for the best in the blurb, And that's true also for the general plot of the...

    Litrpg system

What makes a great LitRPG system is different from what makes a great RPG system. Understanding game design—what makes players happy in MMOs, SRPGs, CRPGs, ARPGs—is an important part of it. In game design, the rule of thumb is K.I.S.S.: Keep It Simple, Stupid. Don't overcomplicate things. A...

    April 1st is coming.

I have a chapter scheduled for April 1st, and honestly, it almost works as a prank by itself. I wonder if people will try to determine how fake it is.

    infinite wishes

I'd wish for the power to visit different worlds, and the power to change things. Turning lead to gold, men to women, old to young, here to there, sad to happy, living to dead, broken to pristine. (And, you know, the other way around, too) Any and all kinds of transformation! With those 2...

    Question for writers here....?

There's five years between my first and second story here. I know some of my old readers are reading the new one. But since I don't update the old one, I can't really tell if people would read both. In a way, though, my current story is almost like four different novels, since I have 4 distinct...

Which online platform(s) do you use to publish your stories and why?

I have more readers and views on Royal Road for my genderbender than I do ScribbleHub, actually. Not by much, it's around a 40:60 split? I do have LitRPG elements on top of Genderfeels, though, which might explain that.

If you had to create your own rendition of a famous public domain work what would it look like?

Is the Count of Monte Cristo public by now? I might pick it, because I love that story. The Three Musketeers? I'd probably make Dartagnan trans, but I am sure I've seen that before. Maybe a modern take of Around The World in 80 days?

Give me names for my Magic Academy novel.

MC, orange-headed fencer: a main charactery name? Something like Geoffrey, Cedric, Robin, Leonard? Friend 1, magic geek: Something geeky and magicky, like. Reginald. Maybe Gautier, which he may shorten to Goetia, in refence to Ars Geotia. Friend 2, elvish chad: Lhinagos. Lin for short. A name...

Get Isekai'd to Your Favourite Fictional World

I would be in the world of Final Fantasy 11 or 14. If I get a class and some ability to level up, cast spells? I would do wonderfully. I would be that solo player who does a ton of gathering and crafting and kills enemies for my own materials. If I am just me? I will find a job as a scribe or...

    Spare me a few secs

For my current story, started with the characters. Because it's character-driven, they are the most important bit. Then I built the game and rules. Then I started thinking the scenes I wanted to see. Eventually I decided what scene would be the end of the story. After, I just had to write...

    To Enjoy Writing

There is a show I watched nearly 30 years ago called ComicParty which has a lesson about writing to market vs writing what motivates you. Personally, I have dealt with being an oddball all my life (autistic and more), so I don't think I have it in me to try and write to please others. Feels too...

Does anyone use the glossary feature?

I used it a bit on State of the Art, and will expand if people ask for details about the VRMMO. If they don't, I won't waste my time.

Where's the line between magic and superpowers?

To me, there's no distinction. Some super hero are sorcerers, wizards, witches. Technological, Magical, Natural, Mutation and Science are the five great power origins. What makes a story a super hero story isn't the power origin. It's the story. Super Heroes needs Super Villains (usually, at least)

Powerscaling: Tell me about the most powerful character in all your novel/s

In my current novel? Strongest character would probably be Ignis, the lord of war and fire god of destruction. But if we stick to human characters? There's probably someone who rushed for "server first level 80", and most likely did it on one of the starter class. So there's probably a level 80...

What is your favorite chapter that you have written?

It's not online yet, but it involves a very cute sapphic moment of bonding over poutine and stew in a communal eating hall in the far north.
