I Bear a Grudge so Deep and True...

Did they actually do that? We should collectively do something about those guys tbh. I hate it when I dislike a novel and other people don't dislike it as well (Dungeon Defense is such garbage.)

How would you rate Earth in terms of Worldbuilding?

The arc of USA was literally the dumbest part of the story. SMH Author ran out of ideas and had to introduce a whole new continent. And then he did nothing with it!

New tags "Death Game" and "Trapped in a Game World"

https://www.scribblehub.com/series/84948/project-mirage-online/ is Trapped in a Game (maybe Death Game for the MC) Actually, I just realized that we have a "Survival Game" tag, so maybe Death Game is extraneous?

New tags "Death Game" and "Trapped in a Game World"

"Death Game" should be self explanatory. Any game that if you die in game, you die in real life, or a game where the penalty is death. "Trapped in a Game World" is different from the "Summoned/Transported" one where you're not actually there, but your mind is. Encompasses your normal edgy...

What makes you drop a story?

If the story is too fast. If the MC lets characters drag them around. Non-yuri harem. Treacherous MCs Asshole characters not getting their due. Stories that meander and get absolutely nowhere, not even sideways.

A writer's Rehab: Where readers get to decide character design and setting.

That you're not a well known writer is a big reason. Another reason is that its simply boring to have a blank canvas. Drawing on an already colorful canvas is much more fun. There's a reason readers like fanfiction, you know.

Writing Tension 101 — How to build tension as a newbie writer

Basically it's just saying that the core of tension is the reader's knowledge. Knowledge of something a character doesn't know (the bomb, Hitchcock), knowledge of what a character finds precious (the book, Azrie). As long as you have revealed to the reader something beforehand, then that...

Writing Tension 101 — How to build tension as a newbie writer

There has to be a way to condense this down to two paragraphs and put it at the top as a summary. The goodreads page that Ace put in the chat was quite succinct and illustrates the concept of suspense and tension well, on top of giving an example of what it is not...

    Adventurer's Guild Adventurer's Guild - OOC Room

You could have color coded titles, but no one is going to use them. They're too lazy to even edit their post to mark the post-eval.

    Adventurer's Guild Adventurer's Guild - OOC Room

The Reception is so confusing. You can barely tell which ones are turning in the quests and which one are evaluations. In fact, I can't tell. Just put "Report" and "Evaluation" in bold at the top of your post? And no one is marking their quests evaluated after the fact too.

Is it uninteresting or blander than the other novels on the sight, or.. what do you mean by bland, more specifically?

Suggestions on making a good status screen for a VRMMO story

A VRMMO focused on "a realistic and diverse experience" will probably have way more misc skills than just set "fighting moves" you use in keyboard and mouse games.
