Recommendations Multi-person romance with actual romance

My story is heading that way. Not yet though since there's only one girl so far.

How much is anime novel worth? 255 readers.

https://www.scribblehub.com/series/100965/reincarnation-of-a-worthless-man/ 737972 words / 1778 readers = One reader per 415 words. Well, that's lame. Clearly my harem isekai isn't harem isekai enough.

For female readers who read harem stories, why?

Whoa. No need to be hostile, friend.

    Damn, that looks good.

For female readers who read harem stories, why?

Heh, I may be fond of that type of the story too. Though probably not for the story itself, but for the smut. I don't usually like passive, helpless, naive MCs.

For female readers who read harem stories, why?

I sure hope my story's girls aren't like that. Though judging by my readers' comments, it seems they're not, with some readers noting that my MC only attracts strong-willed girls to his harem. :s_tongue: I even managed to attract a female reader who admitted this is her first time reading a...

For female readers who read harem stories, why?

That's a good point. That's why I strive to make all my harem girls interesting in their own way.

    It's for self-insert purpose. :s_tongue:

I'm just curious. That genre often objectivities women after all.

Writing [Tutorial] Tricks to Tight 'Sneaky' DESCRIPTION

Yeah, I'd rather do that over forcing my character, who doesn't care about her appearance, to suddenly care about her appearance. All I can give her from her POV is a few lines. More than that would be out of character. So I usually either start from an omniscient PoV, describing "a girl...

Writing [Tutorial] Tricks to Tight 'Sneaky' DESCRIPTION

For the describing POV character part, just use omniscient POV first then switch into limited character POV.

How long have y'all been writing? What have you improved on?

I have been writing since around March last year. As for what I've improved on, I don't know to be honest. Some of my readers said that I have improved but I don't really see it.

Writing [Tutorial] The Secret to Proper Paragraphing and Dialogue

Yeah, I already do that. But it doesn't always work. Like this for example What if I want her to frown right from the get go? Though for this example, it still won't be long enough that it justifies adding a line break. Now, if she starts to think deeply about what she's going to say before...

Writing [Tutorial] The Secret to Proper Paragraphing and Dialogue

Oh yeah, I want to ask, when is it acceptable to add a line break between an action and the following dialogue. By that, I mean something like this. Vs something like this. I usually use the second if the action/thought is really complicated. Or if I need the extra emphasis. I don't have...

Writing [Tutorial] The Secret to Proper Paragraphing and Dialogue

Oh yeah, does this apply to non-dialogue paragraphs? Like paragraphs describing a place or describing characters' actions in a detached, omniscient manner?

Writing [Tutorial] The Secret to Proper Paragraphing and Dialogue

@OokamiKasumi I want to ask you something. How about splitting two speaking paragraphs that are both said by the same character? I usually do it for emphasis or to show that there's a brief pause between the two. Like when a character suddenly changes his/her topic. As a non-native, I prefer...
