Nothing like working in a cold bank all day only to come home and find out your furnace finally died. And it’s snowing outside. Hooray for snuggly cats, we are cuddled under the covers together.

Finally didn’t have a day where I had to set my alarm and get up early for work. The cat said HA. Wake up and feed me, peasant.
I am so unmotivated after today, the bank where I work usually sees around 40-50 people a day. We had over 140 transactions today. I basically talked to a small village. All I want to do is sit and stare absently at the wall.
Ever have one of those nights where you question if continuing writing is even worth it? Where you just sit back and objectively say why am I spending so much energy on this? Cause I’m in that head space tonight. I’m sure it’s because I’ve had a horrible work week and I’m feeling burnt out. Maybe I’ll feel better after some sleep.

How many days off does it take to completely wreck my sleep schedule? Apparently it’s 3. Somehow, I’ve gotten back to being awake all night. That’s really gonna be a problem when I go back to work at 8am tomorrow.
Nothing like having inspiration hit after midnight. I began writing down ideas for book 4 of my series and now it’s 3am. At least I have half the book plotted out, I guess?
That awkward moment when you trip on a rug and twist your knee. The dog just looked at me like ‘what are you like down here?’
That moment when your book becomes three stories wrapped in a trench coat. Hoping I can pull it all off. But my brain is like why are you torturing me like this?
Why aren’t I sleeping? Ask the loudly snoring cat in my bed. ? She’s worse than a human when it comes to snoring. Vet says she’s fine, she’s just loud ?
Why is it I always want a cup of coffee at 7pm? No wonder my brain parties instead of going to sleep. Hopefully I can write a bit more of book 3 of my series and not wake up a total zombie for work tomorrow.
My brain all day: “man I can’t wait till bed time. “
Bed time arrives, my brain: “time to party.”
I love when I finally have a day off work to get caught up on household chores, and I spend all day in bed watching true crime shows instead. Adulting at its finest. -
