I always have those, though I continue on because I want to finish what I started, and also, tell stories.

So yeah, the right thing to do is to sleep. Give it a rest. Hopefully you'll feel better the next day.

Is writing worth it? What is "it" here? Are ya getting paid, enjoying attracting attention, challenging your mind with writing material, or just doing it for funsies?

Sometimes I just feel like I could be spending my energy on something more productive. I’m basically just writing because I had a story I wanted to tell. When I started, it was an idea I had just for me. I never thought about anyone else ever reading it. But even then my family was always like “why don’t you don’t something more worthwhile with your time?” whenever I would sit down to write.

Um... it's your time. Like, right now, me? I am spending my time writing this out. That's time I spent. Unlike money, I can't get a refund on that time. It's gone. Why did I spend it? Because I believe investing my time in writing this comment is worth it. You are unsure, whereas I am sure. The only reason I am certain is because writing is fun for me. Anything that brings me joy, I'm gonna pursue it. How about you?

@Rachel_Leia_Cole a question. Do you enjoy writing, even when @ times you're discouraged? I mean like, you may not want to write now, but you'll eventually return?

That’s a good way to look at it. I do get enjoyment from it. It just feels particularly heavy tonight. I’m guessing I’m burnt out from my week. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster. Work and personal life.
