Fits firmly into what I call "sweaty emo" that came to prominence in the mid to late 90s before emo went pop and indie. They really got that shit down to a science. Sweden was a secret emo powerhouse back in the day, who knew.

I'd listen to this passively while stoned, but the opening lines of the song advised me against that. Anyway, this is one of those baby's first shoegaze songs, but damn it it's just that good. Contrasted with the overwhelming deluge of My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive are on the dreamier side of the genre. Perfect for sinking into your couch.

I've just been looking at Michelin Star restaurants and thinking "damn is that all they're doing?"

I know that at least with a lot of 3 star restaurants, they're doing super ballsy and artsy stuff, to the point where it's questionable if dining there could be considered a pleasurable experience, but I've seen more creative menus mom n pop shops and holes in the walls than some of these 1 star joints.
