    Feeling a little woke.

This is the catchiest song about sex work I've ever heard. Just a nice little pop tune that extends empathy to people who rarely ever get it.

I hope it isn't too obvious that I get my recommendations from Anthony Fantano :blob_hmm:
I've heard that cleaning your earwax is actually bad and stuff, but like, are you just not supposed to do it at all?

Like, leave it be and let it accumulate? :blob_hmm:

Cleaning your ears isn't inherently bad. The problem is when you take something like a cotton swab and just shove it in your ear, you could either damage the delicate internals, or pack the earwax down like compacted dirt.

Yeah, the problem tends to be the method. I've had to use as people mentioned ear drops to break down the wax because I had a bad build up which was helping to cause an infection.

I have heard there are specialized tools for ear-cleaning. Never seen anywhere actually selling anything like them though. Just Q-tips :blob_hmm:
    Daily music recommendation #104 & 105

    I realized I forgot yesterday's recommendation, so here's a 2-for-1 deal. Yes, it's 2 songs even though it's 3 parts. Check the track listing.

One of the most legendary opening sequences in indie music. From the get-go, you're sucked into this enchantingly bizarre world that's somehow reminiscent of The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack.

What's a King of Carrot Flower? Listen to the album to not find out because who knows what the fuck is even going on.

But by the end of the album, you'll be crying your eyes out over two-headed boys, semen staining the mountaintops, Freudian imagery, and allusions to Anne Frank.

Over here, there's a type of bitter cracker. On its own, it's unappealing on account of its bitterness. However, if you eat it with something equally savory, you can unlock the nuances of the cracker, creating a more complex flavor profile than just the savory thing initially.

What this says is you need contradictory forces to reach a transcendent understanding.

    Hegel speaks of this.

This reminds me of an old Indonesian proverb:

    Which translates to:

"Insulted because you're poor... remember...!!! Sugar not it exists why like that sweet what but coffee exists... right...!!! Think...!!!"

    Food for thought :blob_hmm:
FACT: You will be much happier and more fulfilled if you start eating everything with your hands (excluding noodles, soup, and ice cream).

Don't fall for utensil propaganda. It's trying to distance you from your cro-magnon roots.

If I see someone eating rice and curry with their bare hands, you better believe I'm not taking them seriously.

Maybe I'm an uncivilized brute, but I genuinely don't get it.

I don't eat as much with my hands because I'm personally messy and uncoordinated, but I wouldn't so much as blink if I saw someone eating something like rendang (a type of curry) with their hands.

It's all about intention to me.

Japanese curry was intended to be eaten with silverware, so it'd look strange to me if I saw someone eat it with their hands. But Indian and Southeast Asian curries don't have that baggage, so it's whatever when I see someone eat them with their hands.

And I certainly wouldn't attach any notions of civility to that perception.
Despite all the strange things I've seen on this site, at least I've never seen a flat earther :blob_hmm:

Shoutout to all my Digimon Movie 1 fans.
Shoutout to that guy whose parents divorced because he cried over the weird Angela Anaconda short at the start of the movie.
You might know BNL as the guys who made the Big Bang Theory theme, but they will forever be the Digimon movie guys.
