My favorite Kessoku Band track. An absolute masterclass of math rock, courtesy of Nakajima Ikkyu of tricot. It features some of the best guitar work in the genre, including a killer verse riff. Mizuno Saku's vocals also capture the melancholic feel of the song perfectly (she's even better in the live version).

Has Persona 4 aged well at all? I've only touched the PS2 original 15 years ago, so I don't know what Golden's like.

For some reason, 4 gives me the most nostalgia out of the modern Persona games, especially the soundtrack. Holy balls that soundtrack.

Definitely willing to give it another spin once life starts making a bit more sense

A more immediate banger off of Kendrick's least immediate album. Incredible beat on this track, and you either hate or love Sampha's hook. Even with the hit potential, this song doesn't skimp out on lyrical content. Father Time provides a sharp critique of toxic masculinity and the importance of proper male figures, especially in the black community.

There's just something about 90s alt-j-rock that Naruto-hugs something inside me. It makes me feel like I'm a ronin student trying to escape all of my what-ifs. Maybe it's the big choruses or the raw vocal performances.

'Cause in my college's STEM side, we had old colonial style buildings and moss and lichens, and the humanities (and med, which is STEM) had chic cafes.
