  • Some of the best games that had multiple endings did it in a certain way. That is, you play through all the bad ends, before getting to the True End.

Crystar is most notable for this. You play through each bad end, since it is a loop. And when you complete all bad ends, you unlock the final chapter for the True End.

Each loop changes a bit, with you going to the sixth chapter to get to the differences.

The bad end before the True End was pretty brutal. :blob_blank:

Nights of Azure did it in a pretty good way too. Where you can adjust it after you beat the game to see each end.

However, the True End requires reloading the file and doing the True End quests, which are brutal.

Then you go to complete the final boss again.

To cut it short, anytime you require a guide to get to something specific. It ain’t good game design. And that has always gotten under my skin.
Alright folks, what is your strong point in writing?

Myself, it is my amazing ability to turn anything tragic. Even when I don’t want to. :blob_blank:
Recently released the most gory part for Vita et Mors. Hell, the most gory part in the entire series, well, it extends into the next part. Oh well. :blob_popcorn:
    I also want one ! I also want one ! :blob_aww:
and it will be like => I want to be popular, so i drank a love potion that was too effective

Tsuru the bottom that was bottomed out.

(Cover. Cameo left to right : kuudere botty, her onee envy, senpai danny)

    Comedy konosuba style.
Right now, playing Disgaea 2 again. The ones I’ve played was 1, 2, 3(insanely terrible game), 4, 5, threw out six. I looked at 7 instead, and good thing I didn’t buy it. Otherwise, I might have murdered my computer.

I have a hard time deciding which one is worse, 6 or 7. I never thought I’d say this, but 3 is good in comparison to those two.

The best would be 1, 4, 5. Phantom Brave is also an excellent game.
Yep, I think it is clear peeps like the secondary timeline more for Vita et Mors. ?

Yeah…three more of that to go. I don’t think the average bandage is gonna cover this wound. :meowsip:
And now that Chapter 6.5 landed. There remains 16 parts and one Bonus Scene before Vita et Mors is wrapped up on here.
I forgot about this until recently. This basically sums on Blazblue: Calamity Trigger in a powerful way.

Calamity Trigger though was a very unbalanced game. So the True End fights were a special type of hell. ?

If I remember right, they were six battles in a row. And one battle, you fight at a severe disadvantage.
Ya know, this increases my hate on multiple endings for games. First time it happened. I already found them to be a waste of time itself. Though, certain cases they can be done extremely well.

Such as Crystar, Phantom Rose, Chrono Ark, etc.

Though, Sacred Earth Promise. Good story, great gameplay. A short game, but with a nice mix of map transition and area exploration, puzzles, etc.

Anyway, the game has a bug.

Where the last few quests cannot be completed. As a result, the True End is locked out.

I guess on the plus side, it is just some additional scenes. Still, it pisses me off. :blob_thor:

By the way, I highly recommend Chrono Ark. First end you are guaranteed the normal ending.

You have to go back with a gold clover character to unlock the path to the True End. So you have to beat the game once to see the normal end, then do the last battle again with a gold clover character to see the True End.

To unlock the epilogue, events right before the ending of the True End. All characters in the game has to have Gold Clover as their friendship level.
    Val Tip 2:

Take this from someone who completed too many stuff to count. Ain’t joking, I lost count.

    1. First and foremost, write for yourself.
—> The point of the creative process is to bring to life something in hopes it can reach out there. Also, you can’t expect others to like something if you yourself don’t truly like it.

    2. Do not be afraid to take risks.

Something just very well might stick.

    3. A bad story can be made good.

    6. You can’t please everyone.

Anyway, that’s all for Val Tip 2. Now let’s go Muffin Hunting. :blob_evil:

I suppose as an additional note. Don’t worry about your story until after you’ve finished up. During the editing and rewrite process, this is when you will be really considering additions, removals, proper structure, story points, etc.

The point is, that you have the full view in your hands. So now you can really make proper adjustments.
