  • So I was reading fake saint of the year and the protag starts spending all his time working out. Apparently that route leads to the muscle ending where they don't romance any of the love interests. Though there is an ending where if they get into a mansion by impressing the guards with their muscles leads to a CG where it is several guys flexing together and smiling. Sounds like a BL ending >_<

As much as I remember the MC becomes a girl when transmigrates. So if she hook up with a man it would be straight romance and not BL

It is a bit more complicated than that. While the MC of the novel becomes a girl, the MC of the game remains a guy, so to get that ending in the game one has to not spend any time romancing.
Anyone else think it gets harder to continue a story as the word count starts to get close to 100k?

It depends on how you break up the novel. The biggest issue is whether what's being presented will matter and whether the readers will care about it. Long novels do one of the 3: 1) Get repetitive 2) Stray away from original premises 3) End.

My math is probably wrong, but 100k words is more than 16 hours of typing.
There's plenty of good games that get boring after that amount of time, it's no shock that writing the same story for that long might get boring too.

My first story had 100k words. I didn't lose interest in it, but writing as a whole.

I'm probably nearing that milestone on my current one, too. It gets more difficult because the situations you've built up since the start of the story start to pile up. Character arcs that are unresolved need to be finished, even if we've already lost interest in that character a long time ago.

It seems weird that the chapter named nymph has 100 more views than the one before it and the one after it.

That’s because it’s related to the word nymphomaniac.

or rather it’s a word that relates to (sexy) Mother (to your child) Nature, and because everyone here really loves some (sexy) nature. Kinda like how so many people love Pokémon, such as Vaporeon, an evolution of Eevee (ruined by horny 4-chan users and society).

Got another chapter out, 4k words and still didn't get the story as far as I wanted. Does anyone else have this problem?

Yep. Especially when I write the build up parts of my novel.

It's either I put the rest in a side chapter, or if I think it will reach another 4k (which is my word per chapter limit), in another chapter.

Trying to get a boy operating a great wheel making thread. I think I need to lower my expectations.

That's way closer than the other spinning pictures I saw the AI make.

Also, I was sure this was a pun or joke the whole time I was reading it, but I didn't understand it.

Oh if there was a pun then it wasn't on purpose
That day when you get a paper cut handling paperwork. Then an hour later stab yourself with a staple.

Add to that, you wound your finger with the foil from the medicine tablet you're drinking. Damn it! Those are annoyingly painful.

Ever get a paper cut from a blade of grass? That shit stings.
Bleh, this one would have been good except for the messed up hands. Why is it always the hands?
Note too self, stop deleting the image links in chapters while fixing mistakes commenters point out.

Means you need to rest some more.

Any case, take care back there. News being broadcast here about your weather anomaly is going from bad to worse (are they right?)

Oh, around here we got some ice for a few days and a massive windstorm that knocked out power to 90,000 people for a day. Though today wasn't too bad hopefully the worst is over.

This is what happens if you give a prompt for a battle dress, star shield, and a chained flail.
