    SAO was successful more easily
    because it timeskipped directly into MC being op.
    Just like OPM was hugepopular not just because Saitama onepunch, but because chapter1 he is op.

    But creators dont understand this huge obvious elephant in the room : most readers are now veteran content enjoyer that are tired of grow-strong trope.
    THIS that do, write toxic slop where the MC is betrayed/discarded/etc.

    You cant write something you never saw. (i mean you do, but meaning of : you cant think of something you never heard of)

    So people write what they seen or themselves.
    But internet/life is worse than before. People are worse.

    So result : content reflect that.

    ps : oh and socials brainrot people. They use less their brain and imagination = brain is muscle hence worsen by not training it.

    I hate that so many authors try to be serious or "make it big"

    Because sometimes slop > serious well written series.
    Analogy, sometimes you want a good cheese burger and not a steak. ESPECIALLY if you see 5 restaurants of steak in the road.

    THE WORSE is that CN synopsis lately try to make it poofing/slop-like, but you read and its overly serious with dozens of side characters. FUCK THIS, i want OPM slop where a dude beat stuff and be done. Without need to remember names!

    Heck, nowadays its like the CNs are like mobile-game-ADs



    Meaning : the goddamn AD gameplay is more attractive than the true gameplay.
    And its the same with the novels.

    Novel : in 5 sentences, attract me, and expect a rushed-plot where MC is op
    Inside : MC is weak and 999nth grow strong plot.

    Lets say its not that.

    But then there is still the OTHER immersion breaking reason :

    -a normal human doesnt miracly like the first dish that a restaurant give them
    -people tire of things. Yes its restaurant and dont eat it often. And myself buy often same dish because its good. But it is downright ridiculously that they always buy it. And forever will. Today, tomorrow, 1 year later, 10 years later, 50 years later.

    basically is the poison of nowadays animes.

    = "Exaggeration"

    Its why old animes were good. There was "realism". (though some too much)
    Meanwhile all entertainments are exaggerated like a Jackie Chan comedy movie. (not disliking it, but want to cleanse palette sometimes)

    In korean, "saranghae" means i love you, "jagiya" means babe or honey. Combining the two words you get 사랑해, 자기야 which mean what you think it means.
