Researchers have noted that particular specimens of cloud trees exhibit heightened sensitivity to mild electromagnetic fluctuations in the atmosphere.

A number of cloud trees have been observed sending high frequency signals to all trees, to coat their bark in clear, honey-like sap as proof of strength against volatile weather.

However, the trees sending the signals are frequently found with the faintest traces of the substance, or none at all.

Further studies are required to find whether the sap is truly valued or a detriment.
